globemoney01: Bad design. A bridge across the expressway at amawbia, regina and arroma would have cost less and been more useful than ramps. Akwata flyover was not necessary. The Soludo administration has to do something about relocating eke awka because all the traffic that concentrates at unizik junction is because of that market. Remove the market and 80% of the traffic on zik avenue and unizik junction will disappear. Ideally eke awka should be relocated to agu awka to open up the place and shift traffic towards juhel junction. 4 Likes |

Nwanne abeg try to see through the evil creature called mktinsight aka abuzz33, his real intent is to ridicule Obi while at the same time trying to prove to you that Obiano did nothing. His overall goal is against Anambra, he is evil. Now he has got you to attack Obi while pretending to defend the same Obi. For instance, how can a sane person compare someone that did an international airport to someone that did state secretariat, isn't it laughable? globemoney01: 3 Likes |

Anambra -Born Chika Okeke-Agulu, Resumes Duties at Oxford as Distinguished Professor A leading Nigerian academic in the United States, Professor Chika Okeke-Agulu of Princeton University, has assumed duties at Oxford University, one of the oldest and most respected educational institutions in the world, as a distinguished professor. Though announced last year as Slade Professor of Art for the 2023 academic session, Professor Okeke formally began teaching last week at the most prestigious British university established in 1096. He is the first African to hold this position since the chair was endowed in 1870. According to Oxford University, the chair of Slade Professor is “always a figure of international standing in the study of visual arts”. This is a great honour to Nigeria and the African world, declares Toyin Falola, himself the preeminent of History at the University of Texas at Dallas. “He consistently sets Nigeria on the path of global recognition for something good, and this is easily proven by his achievements over the course of his career”, says Falola about Okeke-Agulu who was just last year among the 85 outstanding scholars to become fellows of the highly revered British Academy, the United Kingdom’s national academy for the arts and social sciences. The school valedictorian at the University of Nigeria at Nsukka some 29 years ago who went on to receive a doctoral degree in Art History from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, Professor Okeke-Agulu has written globally acclaimed books on such distinguished African artists as El Anatsui, Obiora Udechukwu, Demas Nwoko, and Yusuf Grillo. “Chika has helped to bring the works of these great men to the attention of the world and interpreted them in a most uncanny way”, notes Ndidi Dike, a top Nigerian sculptor and painter who also graduated from the same department as Professor Okeke-Agulu at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. “He is worth his weight in gold, and remains a great ambassador of Nigerian, nay African, people everywhere.” Professor Okeke-Agulu hails from Umuoji in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State. 6 Likes

Nwanne you are correct . Most of these ediots are none Anambra people with multiple monikers. They are envious and bitter that Anambra is the best and most developed state in igboland. So they are doing everything within their power to rewrite the narrative but they will keep failing because we shall never allow their lies and propaganda to stand here. Have you asked yourself why these same ediots are fixated on this thread only, you will never see them on any other Igbo thread, it shows their hidden agenda towards Anambra. globemoney01: 4 Likes 1 Share |

AmericanQuarter: Good!. Soludo is trying to make it hard for us not to re-elect him. Please he should be covering the drainages, providing walkways and planting trees. He should summon courage to demolish fences/houses if need be. Rochas did it in Owerri to expand Roads and Owerri is better for it today. He should know that we are electing Labour Party all through for Abuja and we will give APGA the local positions, if and when the time come. With Love from me 4 Likes |

Stop deceiving yourself always in this thread, I am from imo, but the truth of the matter is that Owerri is a rural area compare to Onitsha. Owerri and Aba are on the same level of dearth infrastructure. There's a reason most imo indigenes prefer to live in Onitsha than even Owerri, it is because a lot of factors are considered. Owerri is worse than even Aba today, stop coming here to deceive yourself. Below is the aerial view of Owerri, it shows a town laid back in stone age, a disjointed, unplanned village littered with dirty old houses, rustic brown roofs, dilapidated roads and hugd sanitation challenge. Go to imo thread and advice our incompetent governor pandax: 2 Likes

AmericanQuarter: Very good development. Onitsha is our own Lagos in the east, so it requires special attention more than any city in igboland. Good job Soludo. I wish we can get it right in the next poll in imo state and elect a technocrat for once other than all these politicians we have had since 1999 3 Likes |

When we talk about these things, imbeciles that do not know anything about development will come out to talk rubbish and insult everyone. We are lacking in every aspect and some village champions will come here to say otherwise, they will always show you that useless obiakor road without no marking and signs, substandard flyovers/airpot /icc or they will show you the Awka Millennium estate as awka. Awka should not be a Capital state to be honest, a lot of demolition should take place before we can use that as capital but they will not do it ..Go to Nnewi and you begin to cry ..people build rubbish everywhere and dirts everywhere , no regulation. Awka is worst capital in Nigeria . Before the riff raff start to rant again , watch the video of our glorified capital https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=512d4hHOpF8 Grgton: 4 Likes 1 Share |

You are the one that's a riff raff here. I watched the video posted by owerriboi and your own video, I can authoritatively tell you that Owerri is by far worse than Awka. Owerri I am seeing in that video is not different from a typical village. From the video, it is that Owerri is the worst and most backward state capital in Nigeria. What BVI posted about Awka is normal in every city including Abuja. Your lies cannot stand here, we must always counter it. So be prepared You ediots are quick to attack Awka flyovers, please show us Owerri flyovers lets compare? You clown is quick to attack Anambra international airport, please show us Imo Airport or any other airport in the east. You are quick to post nonsense about Awka ICC, please show us Owerri ICC. You are the attracting insults on yourself because of your biased posts here. Awka is the fastest and best developing city in igboland, the earlier you come to that realisation the better for you. AdJosh: Now compare the video you posted and the video of Owerri that's equally posted here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FPfH3auspc 4 Likes |

AdJosh: Well, it is not Soludo's fault that previous regimes failed to develop the Anambra capital city. I just hope he listens to the advice in the video to ensure the PLANNED development of Awka and other Anambra major cities. Instead of the usual chaotic way of building up slums everywhere in the name of development. Personally, this issue has prevented me from developing my land in Awka. Since it might amount to spending money to build in a place likely to become another uninhabitable slum. I hope Gov. Soludo takes the issue of planlessness and chaotic development of Awka and other Anambra major cities very very seriously. We just cannot continue to lose high-end investments to neighboring states because we failed to plan our cities to be decent for habitation. 3 Likes |

ChimaAdeoye: Not holding brief for anyone but I watched that video and I can tell you even in Abuja I saw similar thing not to talk of other SE or southern cities. You said you bought property, where in Awka? Did you buy at Ngozika or Udoka or Abuja estate or Efab, etc, I list over a 100 well planned estates in Awka, or did you even bought at Awka Millennium city? Even Lagos with Banana island still has makoko, etc, why are you people down here always emotionally inclined. I was in Enugu recently and I saw worse things at Asata, Obiagu, Ogui, etc. Owerri is a mess, I don't wanna discuss that here. Let's be unbiased when making some posts. 2 Likes 2 Shares |
