Such a beautiful scientific work.
The most sophisticated polling ever done in Nigeria.

Not only using data and accurate statistical models but the sheer ground that was covered..

Polling remains the only tool used to analyse candidate support in any election in any part of the world and clearly Peter obi is the most viable and favorable candidate going into the elections. Which by itself is a political phenomenon.

How did this happen??
How did we get here??

This very time last year, NOBODY knew this man, he flew under the radar, so how exactly did his name get into everyone's lips and mind just within a few months. I would really like to know how it happened..
Can someone really describe this??

Papa Jakande is well respected but after his tenure he wasn't really deeply involved in anything political like that unlike late Alex Ekwueme who was always a major political voice until his death.

His involvement in the Abacha government could have also stained his white abit but he's respected nonetheless.

Jakande contested for presidency in 1992 under SDP. He lost Lagos state to Yar Adua or was it Falae

I believe the turning point for Jakande was when He joined Abachas cabinet. Anyone in the SW who had anything to do with Abacha became a pariah and anyone who opposed Abacha became a hero

That is the first selling point of Tinubu being NADECO members that opposed Abacha rule

Post 1999 one of the most potent political card to play was visible persecution by Abacha. Almost all the 1999 set of governors were those jailed by Abacha. Falae who was AD presidential candidate was also jailed by Abacha. It was the Nadeco credentials that gave Tinubu Lagos state ticket over Funsho Williams

Post Abacha most of those politicians Abacha used went into retirement and the minority of them like Ebenezer Babatope who was one of Awos favorite even had to join PDP. He could no longer caucus with Bola Ige, Abraham Adesanya Bisi Akande and the AD people

The Man! The Myth!! The Legend!!

How this man built up this movement to this point needs to be studied.. He was vastly underrated. Called a youth's rebellious phase that would soon pass. Called a spur of the moment.

Well he's here, building bridges across the country and winning hearts and minds while the others are mires in chaos and infighting. Not knowing the path forward.

A MAN FILLED WITH GRACE!

Nope Baba Jakande was not a self centered thief or wasteful idiot like our current crop of politicians or governors.

Baba choose to put lagos before self, these lots are putting self before state - thats the key difference.

Imagine how further improved lagos or any other state would be without billions being siphoned or wasted.

Allow him to dey play. Anybody who is sincere knows that one of the major problems we have in modern day Nigeria is the high cost of governance. I watched a video in which Peter Obi talked about his early days as governor; he narrated how a large number of people always follow him to meetings in Abuja and other part of the country; a meeting which only his presence is required. Yet the state will have to pay millions in Traveling expenses, hotel accommodation and allowances for all the people that accompany him on the journey.

He saw it as wastage and decided to prune down the number of these so called aides who just exist to spend the state's funds. We have so many useless special assistants here and there, so many cars in governors, deputy governors and speaker of the house convoy...etc

We practically waste money unnecessarily in the modern day Lagos and Nigeria as a whole. I will never buy these stories politicians spin around about population growth, dwindling foreign reserve, fall in petroleum price etc just to cover their assss

Only jobless boys? What about the police? My mum was coming home from church one day when the car was stopped by the police at the estate gate. that's the truth and nothing but the truth..

You see that video ehh, that video was practically a powerful dynamite for him, and I mean the whole thing!! Any single neutral who watches that video was immediately attracted to his candidacy. There are 2 more that practically sold him to people.

The one he did in America and the video with the radio programme, brekete family.
Those 3 videos are practically responsible for this movement you see.

Nothing dey occur, they are the ones diverting Tankers to neighbouring Countries to sell our subsidized Oil.

NNPC is strictly monitoring them nowadays, thus its affecting their illegal practices seriously. They also inflating their pump price as against fixed price by FG to cover their illegal loses from failed Oil diversions.

Are they even selling at all? So far only major Marketers are selling while they are diverting to Benin, Togo, Niger and co.

GloriousGbola stays in Festac. Ask him how long the queues are just to access the depots in Satellite Town.

Truck cannot even access the depots, and you are talking about selling to Niger. Do you know how many days it will take a truck to drive to Niger?

I have said it here before that the price at the depot cannot make any marketer to sell at 189. How the major marketers do it is what I don't know, and I hope to find out soon.

All these ones are just lies to console those that trust and believe in them.

It will shock you that the same gov you are exonerating are the same people dishing out instructions on d passage of the refined oil..

Who do you think is responsible for the opening/closing of borders and when it becomes open for some commodities who is to blame

It is definitely not independent marketers whose sourcing of pms I frankly do not understand that will be diverting product.

But nnpc is the sole importer of pms into the country. Diversion of product begins and ends with them - just as the adulterated fuel began and ended with them

Even when there was no scarcity, diversions of products were occurring. We even saw a video of a Custom officer denying some trucks passage to Cameroun. This was when there was no scarcity.

So blaming today's scarcity on diversion is just a lie that anybody will tell you, hoping it becomes true.

If a truck departs with PMS from Lagos, it will not get to Niger Republic till Sunday (assuming all goes well). Add the same number of days for it to return, and tell me how this can cause scarcity.

The price to get fuel at the depot, and selling at 189 is not realistic. You have just heard IPMAN telling it's marketers to stop purchasing. And the reason is clearly written there.
