Lies.

IMAliyu2 is just the modest of the problem.

Here is a 13 page scholarly article written by Nigerians that has been cited by many scholars which states that Nigeria has one of the highest prevalence of single mothers in the world.

Stay in the marriage even when your face is being turned to boxing bag or being pummeled/battered.

High percentage of black relationships end due to violence.

Wife beating is so high in Nigeria! Mothers stayed and deal with it their own way.
Here, most won't take such bs - leading to break in the family.

Ben, haven’t you heard or read that for most break in family, violence is the cause ?

Bro, I really commend you for being bold and honest enough to tell the truth that many of us try to hide.
Many guys on Nairaland HATE Nigerian women and warn men who move to the West not to bring their wives or GFs over because according to them, Nigerian women are so wicked. The truth that you and I know is that many Nigerian women who migrate to the West are treated like subhumans, being physically, sexually, mentally, emotionally, and financially abused by their husbands who sometimes refuse to work. Some of these women are forced to work multiple jobs while the man relaxes and spends the family’s resources on American women and other silly things that don’t benefit his immediate family.
Before anyone blames it on Americanized Nigerian men, let me tell that this is more common amongst newer immigrants because most Americanized Nigerian men have evolved past the misogynistic ways of their elders and have learned to respect women. Some guys blame their friends for ghosting them in America on other things but conveniently forget that their Nigerian male friends don’t want to be associated with their toxic ways, even if they’re family or close friends.

An Iowa father who recently pleaded guilty to interfering with police during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol has found himself once again embroiled in scandal for allegedly using his cell phone to surreptitiously record a woman as she was changing clothes at a tanning salon.

Daryl Eugene Johnson, 52, was taken into custody late last month and charged with one count of invasion of privacy for the purpose of arousing or gratifying a sexual desire and one count of interference with official acts, court records show.

Police indicated that the alleged secret recording of the woman may not be an isolated incident, according to a report from Mason City CBS affiliate KIMT.

The charges stem from an ongoing investigation regarding a report of Johnson secretly recording patrons of a tanning business,” police reportedly said in court documents. “Investigators determined a digital recording device was placed by Johnson to intentionally record customers without their knowledge or consent.”

The iSun tanning salon is registered to Johnson’s father, Norman Johnson, according to records filed with the Iowa secretary of state.

That must be what’s missing in Nigeria also because Sub-Saharan Africa has the highest number of single mothers in any hemisphere with Nigeria trailing Kenya for the country with the highest number of children born out of wedlock. This information comes from well-researched, peer-reviewed articles.

Thanks for proving our point. Never thought you'd be the one making arguments for traditional family values but here we are.

Isn't it a little weird how this dude just defaults to calling black men violent animals who beat their wives?

Former president Trump rages over being left out of conservative event.

Former President Donald Trump blasted the Club for Growth on Tuesday after his name was left off the guest list for the conservative anti-tax organization's annual donor retreat.

"The Club For NO Growth, an assemblage of political misfits, globalists, and losers, fought me incessantly and rather viciously during my presidential run in 2016," Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. "They said I couldn't win, I did, and won even bigger in 2020, with millions of more votes than '16, but the Election was Rigged & Stollen."

Trump's remarks come a day after Club for Growth President David McIntosh said nominating Trump to be the GOP candidate in 2024 would diminish the Republican Party's chances of winning the presidency.

He said that the six potential GOP presidential nominees who were invited to this year's event were Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin.

The Club for Growth was once among Trump's staunchest allies. While critical of Trump in 2016, the conservative group supported his reelection campaign and was among one of the biggest backers of Republican lawmakers who sought to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Since the midterm elections, the Club for Growth has gone all-in for DeSantis, Trump's biggest Republican rival.

On the eve of Trump's 2024 announcement, the group released internal polling that showed the former president trailing behind DeSantis in a head-to-head primary match-up. The governor has yet to launch a formal bid for the White House.

On Monday, McIntosh also suggested that the Republicans' disappointing midterm results had largely to do with the former president, arguing that "Trump was on the ballot."

"The last three elections show he's lost," McIntosh said.

"I worry that when we get into a general election if Trump is the nominee, [the Democrats are] going to be able to take a chunk of Republican votes," he added.

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah told GOP Rep. George Santos of New York: “You don’t belong here,” according to a member who witnessed the tense exchange in the House of Representatives chamber Tuesday night.

Romney, the 2012 GOP presidential nominee, made the remarks as he walked into the chamber for President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address.

Mitt Romney on George Santos: "He’s a sick puppy; he shouldn’t have been there.”

After the speech, Romney told CNN he criticized Santos for standing in the front aisle “trying to shake hands” with the president and senators “given the fact that he’s under ethics investigation.”

While Democrats and independents support minimum wage increase, Majority of the GOP do not and would do everything within their power to shoot it down.

As Democrats continue to push for the wage increase, a new survey published on Tuesday by Amazon and Ipsos shows that 92 percent of Democrats believe the federal minimum wage should be increased, as do 64 percent of independent voters. However, just 24 percent of Republicans support a wage hike, while about three-quarters (76 percent) oppose the idea. In total, 83 percent of respondents said a federal minimum wage under $15 per hour is too low.
