Prizee1: You don't need to do anything, brother. Your document is legitimate and authentic without a middle name. |

Beautynm1: You don't need one, but it would be a good idea to use one if you stated in your application that you were being invited by someone. |

ahmedio2017: 1- Check the eligible occupations list if there is any job for Travel agency you think you can fit in. 2 - Ask your uncle if his company has a sponsor license because he will need a sponsor licence to employ immigrant workers to work for for his company in the UK. 3 - He will need to apply for a sponsor license if he doesn't have one. |

MiKiel: As a freelancer, how do you get paid? Is the money transferred directly to your account?? Is there a description of the payment entering your account?? Then you are a self acclaimed freelancer if the answer is NO to the questions above. How was the 10M accrued? How many months did it take you to grow this saving? What's your tie to Nigeria? What will convince the officer in charge of your application to be convinced you will return to your country? You have a good travel history, but I will advise you to be intentional with your application. Having a brand/company ID card that is not registered doesn't count and you shouldn't even think of presenting such because it is a crime. It shows you are running an illegal business/company. SHALOM!!! |

MiKiel: Before I proceed to advise, I would ask; were you able to secure the Moroccan and Lebanon visa under this same circumstance of freelancing? Or you were sponsored on the trip? Let me know so I can advise accordingly |

Hi please, please for those that have successfully applied and gotten their visa, how did you answer that question " how much do you personally plan to spend on your visit to the UK"? Especially when you are been fully sponsored. Do you put the total proposed expenditures or what? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by dirolad(m): 4:01am On Feb 08, 2023 |
azknaija:if you want to visit in August, you are advisable to apply nothing more than 3months prior to your travel date. I.e you can apply only around May/June upward, and this current visa could have expired by that time (May/June). Yes. You can apply for 2yrs+ since you are already having a good travel history with them. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by dirolad(m): 4:11am On Feb 08, 2023 |
MiKiel:you stand a chance, as long as you can prove you are going to leave. 'If you are intending to visit the UK you will need to show that you are a genuine visitor who is coming to the UK to undertake a permitted activity, that you will leave at the end of your visit and that you have sufficient funds to cover all reasonable costs in relation to your visit. It is recommended that you provide information about your circumstances in your home country and details of the activity that you will be doing in the UK. • business registration documents or recent invoices that confirm on-going self-employment'… So you will need a business registration document for your self-employment and recent invoices and/or recent Tax Document to show you are trading and earning profit from your business. Most payment platforms or paying platforms issues receipt/Payslip for every transaction as evidence for future references. This is just one part of the consideration. |

Kiki25: This question has been answered severally on here. You can put the amount the sponsor will be paying towards the trip. Then at the spot where they asked something about the total cost of trip, then you can put the same amount there. 2 Likes |

MiKiel: Ok. In that case, you can apply the same method here. But there are things you should note: The UKVI doesn’t need all those ID and complimentary cards, so as such, you don’t need to include that. I think using the freelance thing would work, but you just have to show evidences of payment and how the funds have been accrued over time. For me, I believe that since you said you have been working for a while, as that is how you got the major part of your funds, you can actually explain that and add your previous payslips or bank statement/working information, just to clarify that part. They need clarity before they can grant you a visa. There is nothing wrong with being a freelancer. Make sure you indicate the days the converted funds from dollar to naira hit your account, and at what rate. Goodluck |

MiKiel: You are good to go. You need to submit such evidence. If possible, download your earnings on Upwork and present them with your application. Just try and work on your home ties. Remember to provide sufficient documents to back your claim. |
