Your are making very wild assumptions.

What % of Nigerians want to permanently JAKPA from the country ❓❓

Why do you think that KC wants to return to Nigeria and he sends most of his money to a volatile economy. Is that what he told you ❓

Seyi Olofinjana ex Nigerian born international l remember him as a coach in Wolves. He is now Sporting Director at Zurich in Switzerland. Why did he not return to Kwara state ❓

You are way too assumptive

I send considerable amounts of money to Nigeria I have several interests in Nigeria . But I was not born in Nigeria and only went secondary school in Warri. I went to two Russel group universities in England.

So according to you I should have nothing to do with Nigeria, because I was not born there.

Because then born pesin for Burger king EEE no mean say you be Beefburger na.

Bro you need to update you reasoning.

KC will stay at Leicester until his contract expires, nobody is going to pay a largely impotent striker £100k a week. When contract expires he will go anywhere he wants but not on £100k.

You weren't born in Nigeria means your siblings weren't also born in Nigeria or left Nigeria before they were 5-7 years old which also means your parents aren't living in Nigeria which means the only and major reason you visit Nigeria is to see your grandparents.

If you're sending money to Nigeria then you're sending it to your grandparents.. since your parents paid for you and your siblings University education please don't finish their money because the last I heard, people are protesting in the U.K..

Unlike you Ihenacho siblings and parents and grandparents are living in Nigeria. The friends he made from nursery to primary to secondary School and the football academy he attended in Nigeria are living in Nigeria and he has more reasons to visit Nigeria more often than you.

Asisat Oshoala has so many projects she does in Nigeria for the schools she attended and young girls.

Most foreign borns don't have anything to do with their parents country.

Yeah Thanks a lot. Glad you took away something from the back and forth.

I just read that they cannot confirm if he was actually taken to hospital. Nobody has located him at any hospital and no records can be found of him at any hospital.

Oga you cannot hustle if you don't have a never say die attitude.

Well, in the past we had players like Oliseh who was sick during Afcon 2000 in our match against Senegal, he had to come in regardless and fought for our victory, players like Taribo (it was said that he hated losing) players like Amokachi who was called the bull, players like Rashidi. We had relentless players who played with grit and determination. Football especially playing for Nigeria was like battle for them. It's no longer so. Whether the FB have anything to do with it, is what - I repeat - I do not know.

Some of these players I knew personally determined a very big Yes.

But playing with a blind rage aggressive hot-blooded anger, with relentless determination I am sorry a big NO

Once again you are being assumptive in the negative. Assuming you know but you don't. Your view is very limited and condescending, it's not knowledge but the opposite.

First of all you cannot create a parochial biased and sorry ignorant of definition of , what it means to or not be born in Nigeria.

That's simply ludicrous, a definition created by yourself for yourself to suit your own narrative it is birthed from unenlightenment.

I was born in the UK 🇬🇧 along with my siblings My Father is an academic as well at the time an officer in the British Army, my mother a medic.

After high school at a Warri Gbeghe Gidigbo school then after brain reset ( Onyibo mentality destroyed) , I returned for university, parents did not pay any fees for me. University has a grant system.

My parents are in Delta, my Grand father had several wives. That's lots of uncles and Aunties both sides , several first cousins lived with us, we consider them as brothers and sisters.

My classmates from High school and university in England are Directors, Heads of Corporate affairs, politicians, Business entrepreneurs, etc in Nigeria a few are in the Military. At university in England some of my classmates parents were Governors and Generals ,Rear Admirals in the Military .

Some of them were sons and daughters of farmers, petty traders, Pastors, etc living in remote parts of Nigeria.

I will not talk about what I do for people that I know and don't know, God knows, that's all I need. I have friends who earn 40k a month, etc

I have considerable interests in Nigeria sometimes I visit the most senior paramount ruler's in my tribe, Isoko/ Uhrobo.

My father lectured at UNN I speak Igbo, as well as bits of Yoruba and my language as well as Warri pigeon fluently.

I deh waka for night drive from Warri to Benin midnight no shakin I rugged dye. When I reach Warri I be area.

You simply have no idea about Nigerians born outside of Nigeria, my friends invest millions of pounds in the Nigerian economy.

Finally, do you know how many born and brought up in Nigerian citizens once they JAKPA burn their passport and refuse to return back ❓❓

Finally finally ,2021 I was in Nigeria for 7 months plus over three trips.

Do you know how many "foreign born", even those who never played for Nigeria, are involved in charitable causes? I'm sorry but it can't even be compared to the rest.

Nigeria has a way of imbibing materialism, tribalism and unhealthy competition in the psyche of many who grow up there.

Even if an average Nigerian wants to charitable, he will focus all his attention on his family and his relatives. At most will be his hometown. Then he'll spend the rest on lavish items.

It generally boils down to one issue. These are what growing up in poverty does to the mindest of people generally around the world. Most people with Grace to grass stories (or those who usually say they are from the streets) may seem nice and friendly on the outside but are usually very badly behaved and easily look down on people. Those who grew in wealth or comfort in the outside may seem snobbish, unapproachable, but inside are more respectful and helping of others. They often grow to appreciate how lucky they were while the ones who are "self-made" will be asking you why you can't "Hussle".

I have interacted with many people and I'll tell you that the best Nigerians you'll interact with or generally the best people are more likely than not, people who grew up in a comfortable and well to do environment, whether in Nigeria or outside Nigeria.

Super Eagles Don’t Need You- Algerians Blast Crystal Palace Star Olise For Picking Nigeria Ahead Of Them
Owngoalnigeria Feb 8, 2023 12:45 PM

Crystal Palace star forward Michael Olise has made it clear that he doesn’t see himself playing for Algeria in the nearest future after recent approach by the country’s FA requesting him to pledge his future to them.

Eligible for France, England, Nigeria and Algeria, Olise who is presently a youth international for France has become the case of a tug between the African countries after establishing himself as a regular at Palace this season.

The height of his performance was the freekick goal he scored at the death which earned them a 1-1 draw against Manchester United. That goal again reenforced the belief that the 21 year old is destined for big things in the future.

OGN exclusively gathered that he sees himself as a French international in the future but if it doesn’t happen before the next world cup then he will be open to playing for Nigeria and not Algeria.

” He has a certain attachment to the Nigerian team and that is why he accepted a call up to the team two years ago. He didn’t honour it due to issues and also the sack of the coach but he still has Nigeria in mind, if he doesn’t make it with the French team”, a source close to the 21 year old told OGN.

” His decision to turn down an invitation from Algeria has led to talks of them shaming him that he can’t get into the Nigerian team but I can tell you. If Nigeria come calling at the right time, he will jump at it. Take my words”, he rounded up saying.

The club could not find him in the hospital he was said to have been taken, nor has any hospital confirmed having him. What if Iheanacho moves to the middle East? He has made a decent reputation for himself with his career in England such that he won't lack teams willing to pay him 100k a week..

The answer to your question is in your write up...

Ihenacho is not foreign born. So a lot of the money he makes he sends it back to Nigeria. The only thing he will pay for in England will be housing, food, children's school fees e.t.c.

Depending on if he marries a Nigerian or e:uropean, he will likely come back to Nigeria and spend his money unlike Mikel Obi who luckily has a wife who's also has her own millions.

The salary ihenacho gets at Leicester may have exceeded his ambitions and that may be one of the reasons he is comfortable there.

You ve said it all Bro
This peeps are so comfortable the moment they attain that threshold of moving overseas. Even our ex internationals are like that unlike the Ivory coast and Ghanaians ex internationals working on managing clubs overseas even if it is an academy team Nigeria ex internationals are just embarrassing they can't even contest for NFF jobs the few besides Late Stephen Keshi that have been given super eagles jobs mess themselves up.... no ambition or whatsoever

Let's ponder on this. Every one is talking that the Home based players should be considered for super eagles team selection but the truth is whenever this folks get few minutes to play for super eagles the next thing is you see them sign for obscure clubs abroad and most times that's the end of their football development the likes of Stephen Eze, Salami,Okpotu,Aneke etc even the under 20 and 17 most especially under 20 only few eventually get to play for the super eagles

Well what I had in mind was not ambitiousness generally as per a player's footballing career.

I was talking about hustling in a match. Hustling such that you never say die. Osimhen has that spirit. Our ex-internationals had it.

I don't know much about ex internationals but u see besides Oshimen I rarely see home grown players currently with that trait even Iwobi has that drive same with Lookman because I have seen it in Atalanta matches so not restricted to foreign born players

Then what is the lackadaisical NFF waiting for ?

I saw a video of Pasiero recently laughing and watching under 20 match I saw him as a show off man after he invited some under 20 players to the next super eagles match and they were even strikers. Players that have not even prove how well they'll fare in a competitive tournament yet. I think we're in big trouble with that coach seriously he doesn't know what he is doing at all. Glad he was given only a year contract.

Finidi and co need push an invitation to Olise and eze let's get them on board asap and also try recruit like 2 foreign born defenders plus the arsenal loanee goal keeper from there let's see what the future holds

He invited midfielders. Daniel daga and onuche Ogbelu. In fact, only one of them was a striker. I see nothing wrong in such a decision. Sometimes young players can be a surprising solution. Coaches all over the world do this
