Lol because of rescue teams;
Not necessarily. A country cannot be better than another in every single sector. I don't think that is possible.

However, I believe SA currently has a better public system than Nigeria. Honestly no one should even be trying to argue or dispute that. It's clear enough. Sorry if I offended anyone.

A week left till the Dubai SWAT Challenge. A reminder of how the African participants performed in 2022:
1) South Africa - 13;
2) Kenya - 17;
3) Nigeria - 28.
Good luck to all our continental teams this year, especially the new entrants and may the returning ones improve their showing.

Bangladesh and my dear Nigeria, looking at the rankings I can tell it's not an army competition.

Abeg, make we try dey send the right representatives for international program like this. As they are KEY to benchmarking performance against global standards.

SA, Kenya and Brazil have gained more out of this than we have.

Sending DHQ SOF against police SF units?

Haba Nigeria, we can be better.

I expected Nigeria to at least send a C-130 to Turkey and assist with ongoing efforts. This is a county that has had close ties and good trade with Nigeria. Turkey has a close relationship with the Nigerian Air Force selling assests, and is one of the countries that has offered to assist with Nigeria's security issues.

Nigerian Air Force should not think they are too small to arrange an airlift of SAR personnel and material. These are the kind of stuff you do and earn the full respect of major countries.

NAF people up here, PLEASE send this up the chain of command.

Let's have even if it's a charter flight on the way to Istanbul on Sunday at the latest.

Nigeria is a big boy and should play the world game accordingly.

We honestly know that Nigeria is a big player in the west African region and African continent, but without ceasing opportunities in this kind of scenarios to show the capabilities of the federal Republic, it makes us look like a local champion. Maybe we have too many issues on our hands that we need to handle instead.

There's a difference between human and civil rights. There are no laws against humanity rights anywhere in the world.

Yeah I know about the Nigerian laws and all that but you don't arrest someone for an identity. Even if I say I'm a thief, the police cannot come and pick me.

If speaking Ibo was a crime in Nigeria, it still doesn't mean being ibo automatically gets you mistreated and arrested bruh.

Worse still, brutalising me, detaining me and trampling on my rights just based on the fact that im ibo but you can't prove that I actually spoke it. Thats a human right violation.

The competition is open to special units from both police and the military.
Have a look at the events and help me understand how they don't fit in with military SOF:

I believe if a group of people or community is illegal in a country, then that group is not recognized and definitely non-existent. Hence, the only sensitization those security agencies are supposed to be getting from the American embassy is on human rights not LGBT rights as specified.

That does not mean that Nigerian security agencies are supposed to trample on the LGBT community rights but prosecute them through due process and through conditions specified by Nigerian law.

Does DHQ or HQNPF run SWAT type operations in Nigeria?

There you have your answer.

No it is illegal to prosecute someone based on who they say they are. It is rather what they do. Did you see them having s*x? Then why prosecute them?

If I come out today and say I am a terrorist with bombs planted at the CBN HQ, the DSS will invite me. Persecuting people for what they say has been a practice, that's why freedom of speech came into play.

However, You prosecute them because they identify with that perspective. They wear rainbow coloured clothing and at the same time proclaim that they're part of the LGBT community. That's enough evidence to prosecute them.

Saying you have bombs planted makes it a different issue then.

You are potentially putting lives in danger.

Saying I'm gay and expanding that ideology in the Nigerian society is a danger to the culture of the Nigerian people and the younger generation. It's also a danger to the natural order and might affect the balance of the Nigerian society.

P.S I have nothing against the gay people. It's just the law.

So identifying with something with a direct connotation to it's practice [which is illegal] is okay?

We Capetonians only care about the rehearsals; no detestable politicians!
The day itself is an excuse - not that one is ever needed - for those still having to commute to offices to leave early to avoid gridlock!

it won't, unless the NAF are being paid to go....rescue teams are paid for by said country or other humanitarian organisations
