No i am not changing my sponsor i am still using my uncle as my sponsor i just want my dad to get me money in my own account as gift deed and also do gic i showed our relationship with a family tree and he does not have the same surname with me as he is my maternal uncle. my program is two years.

Okay that’s okay. I’m sure the previous application was refused because of proof of relationship between applicant and sponsor. If the only document you submitted was family tree.

Secondly, considering that he’s your uncle and not your dad, CAD$35k is certainly not much.

I just calculated your expenses: 19k(tuition)+10k(living expenses)+3k(Miscellaneous)=32kper annum.

Two years masters is around 60k ish.
Out of which you paid 19k.
Left with 41k.

And you’re using your uncle (it is believed he has his own family and extra responsibility- so obviously he can’t give you all his 35k). Highest he’ll give you 30% lol. . . I’m kidding right! But that’s it.

So yes go on with the GIC and/or gift-deed from dad then supplement the POF with your uncle + the tuition fee payed, it should fly.

Let me mention that I did not include Police character certificate, land documents or other property documents because I do not have any of those things. It is true that 2 applications cannot be the same, sometimes too much of documents even can get Visa Officers confused. The above listed documents were all I submitted. It is good to read people's TL to be encouraged but some TL will get you intimidated and confused. My application was a self- sponsored. And all I submitted as POF was 10.4m

I am a first time applicant and I have never traveled out of Nigeria before. I never enter plane before self despite the fact that I work at the airport until last month that I went for medical and biometric. Travel history is not a criteria.

The total of my tuition for the 1 year is about 20,000 cad + 10,000 cad living expenses+ 3000 cad miscellaneous.

How I addressed POF.

My salary is around 100k. I knew for sure that it is too little to present as monthly earnings. what I did was to use all the 1.7m I had in 2021 to buy Toyota Corolla. I planned running bolt with it for a good 1 year before submitting my application. I explained that I drive my car on bolt platform on part-time basis anytime am off duty. Each month I make sure i make over 100k net profit from bolt. I submitted 12 months MBS to show that I truly make such money from bolt. I collected a loan of 8m from a co-op society, collected 2m from a friend because I knew the 8m won't be enough to show as POF. I wrote in the LOE that this my friend was a long time friend (classmate) which was true. He had sent money to me (vice versa) severally in 2022. I also showed pictures of us together in 3 different occasions (in school,at my engagement and at a function) and also included his international passport. Someone in Canada even advised that I should not include him that nobody gives anyone such money in Canada, that even parents don't give their children money. But I had no other story to cook because the money had already been sent to my account. I also made sure I paid 1m into my spouse account to augment her salary for her and the children's upkeep so the VO will believe that nobody go press my neck for money in Canada. In my LOE, I also mentioned that while I would be away, there is an arrangement on ground to employ a driver that will drive my car on a FULL TIME basis with weekly remittance of #30,000 to my account and to be managed by my spouse. The weekly 30k + my monthly salary+ other annual benefits from my employer resulted to additional 3m+ (about 10k cad)

How I addressed hometie

Apart from the fact that my family (spouse and children) and job are strong home tie. I became a volunteer with Red cross society of Nigeria just for the purpose of ID card and pictures, and I got that. I also collected a letter from my church. You can buy a pet (🐶, 🐱, 🦁, chicken 🐔) and add it to yours as hometie in your application. Include their vetinary cards and other documents.

Please note, keep your application as simple as possible, no allow NL use TL press your neck. Submit your application as early as possible so you can have peace of mind, and plan your departure well. All the experience I have today was gotten from here because I have been following since 2020. I also handled a friend's application last year. Submitted application Aug 16, 2022 and PPr Dec 26, 2022.... In all one cannot rule out the importance of prayers. I read here where people engage in different and lengthy spiritual practices. I also prayed and fasted for just 3 days and God got involved.

Submit your pending applications now......

I pray that God will come through for as much as many applications this year, especially those ones that that overdue/overstayed for a decision.

Good day great people, I just got admission at Niagara college. Pls, is there any review about the college? I also applied for Fanshewe and Humber colleges though waiting for their decisions.

One thing with the school is you’ll have to scan your visa page or study permit before you’ll be allowed to choose timetable.
I got my passport request letter on the 28th of Dec, I immediately informed the school that I’ll be coming so they should enable be choose timetable, they disagreed, I didn’t get my passport till 10th of January, I already bought ticket sef, only for the school to send a mail that enrollment is full. E pain me ehn, I had to differ, they don’t do that in Fanshawe.

I'm available to answer questions hear....if you come to my TL for private engagement or documents, na billing ooooo.... Looking for Raba noww

Hello Abeg441

Do not waste your time on form A for a payment deadline of 2 weeks.

Peeps that have initiated Form A for months now have not been debited and the school has not received the CAD equivalent, so do not go near Form A, especially with what is going on in Nigeria presently with the banking sector..

Take time and read up on the school's payment options, there are 3rd party options like Flywire you can use, even though their rates are more expensive but your payment should get to your school in a week or 2.

Peace

Please house, how do I make payment with Form A through flywire and the time given to me is less that 2 weeks how can I make payment to Form A and if it's not possible to meet up with this time how do I make subsequent payments through Form A and flywire for the remaining balance?

What are the chances of approval with just the acceptance deposit? No tuition initiated yet

Well,

I have quite a number of peeps who got family visa with a year program for the primary applicant.

Just put down a clear and well-detailed explanation of why you wanna go as a family, and most importantly, make sure your explanation is convincing.

Also, hope you have the funds to comfortably cater for your tuition and living expenses of your dependents, this is key.

Hello Gisele

You didn't mention the school or program you going for, but I will advise you to exercise a little bit of patience. Probably the number of applications they got for your program is on the high side. The master's admission process can take months, PGD/PGC admission process shouldn't be more than 2 months..

With the bolded, you have already answered your question.

So do well to get documents to back up the lump sum, else be prepared for a refusal..

If a public servant collect loan of 5m from Bank and add to his 5m savings before transferring to his brother's account as POF, is there any need to drop the document showing that the 5m was bank loan?
I'm asking because VO always like to know the source of lump sum.

Computer Science to Civil Engineering? Like how?

Or do you have a background in Civil engineering or are you working as a Civil engineer? If yes, then you can work something out.

if No, well don't let me say something negative.

Good Evening,

I was denied January 27th, due to insufficient proof of fund and my previous course of study was not related to the new one. I previously Studied Computer Science but when I applied to NBCC I couldn't get any course related to Computer Science, so I chose Civil Engineering Technology that was available. I don't want to miss the shot. I strongly believe that I will have testimony if I apply this time around with the help of God and anyone that will mentor me. Hello quinstershaw

As we all know, you can't predict the operation of IRCC VOs.

Personally, I have worked with a number of applicants who got their visas paying just $1500CAD Deposit fee. Many paid 1st semester and very few didn't pay anything and got their visa. But note this people who didn't pay anything had the required funds sitting in their SOA.

This is my advise for you, yes you can get your Visa with just the Tuition deposit, but make sure you have more than the required funds in your SOA and let your application further convince the Visa officer that you are capable and ready to pay up your tuition fees balance once you get your Visa..

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by makano: 7:45pm On Feb 08, 2023
Well,

Like I always say, if you know you have waited long for your application that have passed the processing time, start with sending IRCC 5 emails every day, if after 2 weeks you didn't get a response, increase to 10 mails everyday.

It may sound crazy, but this crazy act has worked for applicants that crazily did this, so it's up to you..

It's better to submit everything at once. A supporting document like a study leave letter may never be added or reviewed by the VO after submission. All the best.

[quote author=Ucy12 post=120720761]Wow!
Thank you so much, Bulstriker, for these rich and analytical thoughts of yours. I'm really grateful. They will really help a great deal.

I have applied for Study Leave from my place of work, but it is not handled fast enough and I should reapply maximum by the middle of this month, since I'm resuming on the 1st of May.
In case the letter is not ready by then, should I still reapply and then send it to them through web form when it is ready?

Thanks a bunch for your advice.

Some persons did not submit study leave approval but have gotten visa.

You can submit letter of introduction from work, appointment and promotion lett

Thanks so much for your advice, Emmyoddy.
I am just one year 8 months in my job; so no promotion yet (it comes every 3 years).
Will only Appointment Letter and Lettre of Introduction work? Can both documents serve as a home tie for job?

Thanks for your input. Blessings!
