Schools are not being shut down....those periods are only declared as work free days. You can't force students out of school just because of election and besides schools also have a lot of polling centres. |

I know what these people are trying to achieve with this, but I don't see why all institutions have to be shut down. Normally, election Day is like holiday. Lectures do not hold and nobody goes to work. Everybody is expected to go out and vote that day. So why shut down the institutions. It just keeps occurring to me that our policy makers, and majority of people in government are very low and terrible thinkers. It's disgracefully incredible. First, you change the nation's currency because you want to prevent some folks from sharing the money they stacked somewhere during elections. Now you are shutting institutions down for weeks in order for students to have time to vote. Seriously  There are better ways, bold ways, brave and smart ways to achieve all that. What gives them assurance that students would vote, that they even have voters card. Would they force them out now that they feel they could just relax at home as it is an holiday.
