only one person will be issued the COS, weda u pay 20million or 1M...ur family will just apply as dependant paying only visa fees, which can be immediately or even later u land uk...

if u let him know this he may either withdraw the COS from.u to another client by claiming they only do family package...or he may say he will have to pair u with another person to pose as ur spouse..... all na format to maximize their gain....

Made payments in full only for me to be told I need shengen visa after I have been ticketed. Departure is 12th Feb, praying to God I get my passport back from french embassy tomorrow. If not I might be forfeiting the ticket and money as it is non refundable

Wow thank you for the info. I have already canceled any plans with those airlines even with their cheap fares. I plan to book with Turkish Airlines what do you advice? I know I do not need a transit visa but with the earthquake in Turkey I just don't want the flight to be cancelled cos I think people are avoiding booking with them. I plan to travel 23rd or 24th before the elections. Sorry about your passport experience.

Please anyone has a suggestion on Turkish Airlines and the situation with the earthquake in Turkey

Hope you have your passport to write the exam cos they didn’t allow me write with national ID. If you don’t have your passport I will advice you go for language cert, that’s what I ended up using

£250-500 should be enough for you till you start earning (that is with the assumption that accommodation is settled already). If you're a lady, you may tend towards £500.

As soon as you arrive, get a SIM card, download Monzo or Revolut app, create an account and you should get your debit card between 3-7 days (Monzo card is free, Revolut card is not). If you have a dom account in Nigeria, you can use the card here as well but you may have to pay extra charges on withdrawals. You can create account with traditional banks when you're settled.

Turkish Airlines flights stop over at Istanbul Airport which is very far from the earthquake epicentre. The only issues they have had recently is freezing weather and snow. Asides that, I know its a very good option because I used them. Qatar Airways is a fantastic option as well.

No need for pof if maintenance is ticked. And don't submit ur care certificate to the embassy o. It was your employer who needs it b4 they gave u the cos. Don't go and cause gbege for ur application by submitting care certificate like one person did by submitting auxiliary nurse certificate of 12 months to the embassy and she was denied .

Am not the one bro. Was inly replying to someone question. And as regards the care certificate. Aslong as ure not applying as a nurse. But care worker. U don't need all this certificate. Its only when u applying as a nurse this can be useful. And if they now ask again for additional documents aswell.

I have someone that can help you get the pcc in ikeja. You can use him he is reliable although it's the one with fingerprint on it.

There's an expiry date on the COS. If it's not past the expiry date yet then there nothing to be worried about. We've had people traveled after their resumption date on this thread but if you're worried it might be an issue, you can tell the company to write a letter relating to the change of resumption date incase you're being questioned at the POE.
