Overcrowding: At least six UNICAL students pass out during an exam

No fewer than six students of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Cross River State, pa$$ed out during an exam at the school’s premises on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

It was gathered that the 100-level medical sciences students faint£d and were rushed to the hospital due to overcrowding and the struggle to get into the exam hall.

In the video obtained, the students could be seen being rushed into a shuttle by their colleagues.

“At least six students pa$$ed out today while we were taking chemistry exam. The crowd was too much and people were literally falling on themselves,” a student told Instablog9ja.

I once made a comment here condemning NUC for closing school down for 2 weeks or so and somebody here attacked me that I was comparing too much. I believe institutions of higher learning are rushing things up for students to vacant campuses. This is the side effect of wicked APC useless decision. Fuel scarcity and new Naira notes swap is on. What a country!

Wow our education system is dysfunctional and the handlers of most universities are just after their pocket..why not build more exam halls for the students after all they're paying alot of money as school fees
