You have to be a motor for someone for a while and that's if you don't want to pay for learning...as LP person, we no dey give shish to learn driving..

Learning in designated schools would be the best route. You get certified.
It doesn't come cheap though.

There are parks for heavy duty trucks in every city that's your rendezvous. I said simple right? Sorry, I lied. It'll be an uphill task getting these weed smoking, gin drinking, Ashawo fuccking and reckless money spenders to hear your narration.

Don't be discouraged by the NOs or relent but keep knocking until there's YES...

There're many paths to the stream but the way I'm suggesting you thread would be good because you get paid for it...

But get ready to get dirty, sleepless nights, and stormy weathers, and uncharted Waters.

If any of those drivers take compassion and allow you be their "motorboy" keep your essence and heads-up. The temptations to lead their kind of lifestyles would be towering but remember you've got a wife back home.


Least I forget... Being a motorboy is not a walk in the park. If Tyre Burst on highway in a forest somewhere in kogi the task rest on your shoulder...

If after some trips you found you couldn't put up with the driver, you may change and that's it.

If you can afford it, learning from an academy would be more better and safe.
Early last year I tried learning how to drive a truck. Someone linked me up with a delivery long haul truck driver in a Cement company in Calabar. The guy was nice and ready to teach me every thing but due to the pressure to complete his trips, I only drove the truck twice in about 4 months. I actually know how to drive normal vehicles, I only wanted to learn the reverse drive of a trailer. There was little or no time for frivolity. Those days that I drove I mounted so much pressure on him before he would allow me. He would always want to return quickly to reload. The truck is on tracking and due to company policy on regulated hours of driving, even when the truck is parked you can't start the truck to use it for learning. The physical work and hazard that is not related to driving is just neck breaking. I am not discouraging you but I am narrating my experience. You can give it a trial though but I think if you go to an academy and they assign a personal trainer to you, within a month you will be perfect. Truck driving is easy but you need every day lesson to master it

Truck driving learning is easy..all it takes it friendliness and language. Those two will help u get a teacher and driver to teach..
