Good day everyone, I’m a graduate of marine biology with a 3.0CGPA(unilag). Please which affordable school can I apply to and what course can I apply for ? As I have tried applying to Fleming college( got a negative feedback) . Been on this for a while and deadlines are fast approaching, @makano @lekibo @bullstriker and all other gurus, your response will be highly appreciated. Thanks and God bless y’all.

Hi Toun, when you say you have been on this for a while, how many schools have you applied to? Are they colleges or Universities? With your CGPA your best bet will be to look for related courses to your work experience if you have long study gap, then try and apply for intakes that are not close. You can also reach bullstriker directly, he has good experience with this.

Hello Beautiful People,

Please my passport expires Oct 2024 and my school resumes Sept 2023. My passport has already been stamped.

Should I renew my passport in Nigeria before going? Or what would be the best thing to do in this situation?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Hi!
Church marriage certificate may normally not be acceptable for such administrative purposes. I advise you go to the registry and make enquiries. Explain the situation and see if there's an option. If there's a possibility of getting you both married in court, but using the date on your church marriage certificate, that'll be pretty good for you.
Just go explain and ask if the above BOLDEN is possible.

All the best!
Ucy.
I can help on this,if is court marriage

Good morning everyone, please is SOP same as LOE (letter of explanation)?

Is church recommendation letter compulsory?

For NOVA SCOTIA, i read some discouraging comments here of recent and it got me scared, if the school isn't able to provide accommodation, can one get accommodation in a town close to it?

My course (Healthcare management) will be held in a Cineplex outside the university so is a must to live inside the school provided accommodation and what if they aren't able to provide?

Its not a must to live on school residence. If you can get accommodation in a town close to the school, then do that. Depends on you

First I will congratulate myself. Congratulations to me. God has remembered me. I am sure most of you will know me here when I was complaining that my application has stayed for so long and no response. I am August 16 applicant.
After 10years UK ban, 3 times US refusal which I mentioned.
Just yesterday I got so frustrated and I cried a lot asking God why I have to wait for this long. I didn’t know God was waiting for me today. I got my PPR today feb 13th.
When I got the message I was at work about to serve medication. I am a registered Nurse. I just sat down I became scared, nervous. I felt my removing my cloths . I didn’t know what I was going to expect. But I gathered courage and served my medications then went into my car to check. Only to see the good news.
The documents I submitted was
-High school, bachelor
- ielts. Even tho it has expired in February I still submitted it that August
-CV and study leave letter from work.
-letter of acceptance from school
- School fees receipt . I paid full fees of 18,000 CAD
-bank transfer Slip
-Bank statement: my Niara account of 5 million and my dollar account of 8000usd. I submitted MBS for naira and I printed for dollar account
-land evaluation
- land papers, car papers
-upfront medicals
-marriage certificate
- passport showing my visit to SA in 2017 and 2021
- husband and children passport
-all IMM forms
- birth certificate and children birth certificate
- CV
-Police clearance.

Good afternoon. Please I'm also doing this. I paid through flywire and it is yet to be acknowledged by the school. Can we discuss? WhatsApp 080 290 22301. I will like to hear from you. I may need your guidance
When making payment through flywire, you need to indicate your student number, and your receipt from flywire and send to graduateadmissions@uwinnipeg.ca.

Gurus,am here again, my case is a case of reapplication,
1) on the ircc form, there is a place for UCI number, am I to fill the uci for my previous refused application or am to leave the space blank
Note am using my previous gckey for the new application.
2) I want to alter my resume in the new application, will visa officer check the previously submitted resume
3) I did Npower for 2 years, but it was teaching job and it has no academic progression / employment progression with my proposed study, so I dint declare it in my first application. Can I go ahead and declare it now cos of the awards I received from my school during that time or I should just forget it.

Wow, congratulations . 10k sbould be enough. Your family of 4 officially needs 20k which approximately 7m. The remain 3m is a good buffer for it could serve as cost of flight and other contingencies
