You see, when we tell members of this forum to make use of google, The people here don't use Google, they use oracle, lol. After the rubbish you wrote.I was expecting to see what you guys do different from MBA forex. And for you to tell me who regulates online forex trading in nigeria as you possess the required approval from them. Calling you guys scammer is me being polite to what you are doing to gullible Nigerians. You are thieves and many fall for your promises that you can make them rich quickly. Most times I wonder if you guys claim you are professional and sure of what you claim. Why don't you approach the banks or sell your properties to invest. The people here do it in stock market.....Mr google partner 9 Likes 2 Shares |

emmanuelewumi: If not for Naira devaluation and inflation a steady annual income of #640k on a #4m investment isn't a bad business. Well I already told my bank manager to key in my offers first thing tomorrow. If I may ask which particular day should we expect the coupon payments both in APRIL and OCTOBER... Beginning of the month, middle of the month or ending of the month? Thanks 2 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 5:26pm On Feb 12, 2023 |
megamart247: The payment date can be found in the offer document. Your coupons from bonds are predictable unlike rents or dividends, you can create growth by reinvesting the steady coupons in the stock market or mutual funds. With a good strategy your investment income will increase by 100% within 6 to 7 years 8 Likes |

uote author=emmanuelewumi post=120806645] It is N50 million if you want to bid yourself, I buy through my bank and I allow to to bid for me. As a matter of fact I opened a Stanbic IBTC Bank account because of bond investments. With N1 million they can bid for you in the monthly primary market offering, with about 200k they can bid for the in the secondary market which happens every business day
. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by vacanci: 9:46pm On Feb 12, 2023 |
emmanuelewumi:Good evening Sir. I contacted the Stanbic person whose number you indicated and he told me it's N50 Million for the auction. I still resent a message to further inform him of what I exactly wanted is for Stanbic to bid for me but he has yet to reply. Is there any way I needed to have made my request or there is someone else who can understand me.

For those interested in Nigeria's macro policy, Walle's musings in his ecoblog is quality reading. See https://eco215./2023/02/13/nigeria-fixed-income-weekly-134/ Here is an excerpt: "Fundamentally, due to increased adoption of electronic payment channels, cash use in Nigeria is not very large. The CBN has marshalled a red-herring argument that currency outside banks (COB) is a high ratio (85%) of currency in circulation (CIC) and that this had increased from 75% in 2015. This is irrelevant as COB has historically averaged over 80% of CIC given the relatively large informal share of Nigeria’s economy which has a lot of low value transactions. The key metric is what share of aggregate money supply is held in the form of cash balances. That metric has declined over the last two decades to a level [4.9%] lower than what is obtainable in similar countries. The idea that somehow the less than NGN3trillion cash milling around the economy at the end of 2022 was somehow a bigger threat to monetary policy efficacy than the NGN22trillion printed by the CBN when it was lending money to the FGN in breach of statutory limits is an exercise in deceit. The big problems have nothing to do with that cash and this episode continues in the long line of deliberate policy misteps pushed by the CBN leadership over the last nine years." Edit: Seems like Nairaland's anti-spam reformatted the link. It is eco215 dot wordpress dot com 2 Likes 1 Share |

Why so? Apart from a slightly higher processing fee and perhaps a difference in platform from Morgan, their operation seems decent to me. Coolcash1: |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 5:16pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
Your N1 million might be 900k or N1.2 million depending on the current market price of your investment, but if you hold till maturity you are sure of getting exactly N1 million. The volatility of bond is not as severe as that of the stock market. The market price might be at 20% discount or premium. When it is selling at a discount, you are bound to get a better yield if you have the cash to invest 1 Like |

If I want to buy in the primary market, I usually send my request and fund my account a week before the due date. Sending a mail less than 24 hours before the due date and trying to liquidate your MMF investment in order to fund your account will be a long thing. The guy you mailed yesterday and other members of the team are responsible for all the offers from bank. If you don't have upto N50 million make sure you fill the offer form a week before the primary market bid, so that your fund would have been pooled |

Una dey over elongate as well as derail this thread and it's not cool at all. We all are either learners, teachers, or both, on the stock market. Imagine, coming back to the thread and seeing so many comments. You go through them to learn about the stock market, just to see that it is either about bond or about bondage. You rush and skip through all of that and end up even skipping through an important stock information. As I always say, the stock market is largely emotional and reactionary. Despite all your bedsheets, and fv and technical analysis or candlesticks, investors need the latest info to make some unforeseen decisions. Make una teach me how to report to Admins and Mods ooo 2 Likes 1 Share |
