Apex Bank is an independent Body.
Supreme Court has lost their control base on political inducement from political players.
Governor's are not with the masses, rather trying to used masses to achieve their political money inducement during the upcoming election as a result on currency notes in their warehouse. shocked

I knew it will get to this. I only blame the masses that were caught up in the power play, I hope the old money with them isn't their "last card" but anyone that have lived so long in this country suppose to know when issues like this happened your first instinct is obey and deposit all money and be watching from comfort of your home the rofo rofo fight that will ensue. The Supreme court will throw out the suit tomorrow due to lack of jurisdiction if CBN and Banks will be joined in the suit and the legal war techinicalities will be sustained till after election. This is not a legal battle between Governors and some unknown persons that can be entertained and judge do anyhow. Any judge assigned the case ought to be careful because na small matter like this dem go draw you into the politics and mess up your career so it will be difficult to grant any prayer not properly scrutinized. Make I watch how events unfold with my lager beer as I pity the masses that are bearing the brunt.
You have said it all. If you have lived in this country as an adult for the last 10yrs, you all should know better.

It seems that Buhari and Emefiele are trying to hide a problem with the Nigerian economy. They are doing everything in their power to scatter everything.

Meanwhile, as at yesterday banks in ota, Ogun State were still accepting old notes and people are doing their legitimate businesses with old notes in ota here. Reject old notes make hunger kill you. Funny enough I collected old notes from pos 5h for 5k yesterday.

We don't listen to CBN any longer. We shall continue to spend the old notes. Una time short, after May 29 you'll say no more. Infact, after the presidential election you shall say no more. I'm very confident that this old notes will remain legal tender until next year.
It will remain legal tender in your house!
You people are the ones dragging this country backwards, corrupt things! Why are all u tinubu supporters not clamouring for the new notes? It is not like the old notes are even available, why the emphasis on old notes? Because your master has stashed up old notes to buy votes.

Nice one,I hope elrufai and thiefnubuu will not sponsor protest and start burning bank if any riots breakout anywhere in Nigeria Tinubu and his criminal gang will be dealt with seriously

Your daft Obi that supported Emefiele thinking Tinubu would be affected is feeling it now. You know Obi doesn't have sense. He couldn't read the hardship behind the Policy. He's so shortsighted that he couldn't see beyond his nose. All he cares for was anything that would affect Tinubu. Tell me if obidients are exempted from the hardship now. We don't need a president with a myopic and satanic thinking. In Nigeria today, banks are found in major towns and cities where they're sure of profit. More than half of the 774 local councils in Nigeria don't have bank in their locality. People in rural areas would have to travel to the nearest town for banking services. Your Obi, bcoz he's clueless jumped on social media to support Emefiele actions and his gullible obi-idiots too aligned with him. He wants to be president indeed.

PETER OBI WILL NOT WIN THE ELECTION In 2023,TRY AGAIN iN 2027
Like a wonderful economist said yesterday, what the Financial Terrorist, financial kidnapper, Financial bandit called Satanic Emefiele aided by Baba Buhari has done is not currency swap but currency confistication.
Some weeks ago the DSS declared Satanic Emefiele a financial terrorist and I wrote my opinion on some threads defending Satanic Emefiele, alas the DSS was right, the CBN bandit should have been detained and humiliated in the DSS dungeon.
I'm sure the Satanic Emefiele and his family are not going through the pains millions of Nigerians wake up to every morning, trying to collect cash at POS,ATM or even in the bank.
Satanic Emefiele you lied to Nigerians to return all their old currency and said we will be able to withdraw 20000 only daily from our account.
It's more than 2 weeks since we returned our old currency and we are treated like animal in banks whenever we go to withdraw our legitimate funds,we suffer at ATM machines only to be allowed to collect 2000,5000,10000 naira and that's only for the lucky ones.
That's why I will never vote for Atiku and Obi,I'm sure Asiwaju Will retire this bandit from the CBN and hand him over to the DSS to answer for his crime of financial banditry and terrorism.
For every Nigeria that has lost their life because of this Satanic, terroristic, devilish currency confistication policy, their blood is on the head of Satanic Emefiele.
For every trader, farmer, business man and woman who has suffered enormous losses despite working hard legitimately in this very very tough country because of this policy, Emefiele you will die of poverty.
I hope the Supreme Court orders this financial terrorist Emefiele to be arrested and chained in police headquarters for blatantly disobeying a court order.
The financial terrorist knew how to approach the court to get an injunction restraining the DSS from arresting him,but finds it convenient not to obey a superior order restraining him from continuing with his devilish, Satanic, terroristic policy.
God bless Nigeria.
this policy comes from APC and Buhari who Tinubu brought in because of his own self-interest. Why reward such person with your vote

Buhari himself doesn't respect Supreme court rulings. Numerous Supreme Court rulings he has violated now, for fun. Nothing new happening here, Buhari in his usual ways, using Emefiele to violate another Supreme Court ruling.
When he violated rulings in d past, his party members cheered him on, d monster they made is finally attacking them

They are not talking about how people will have access to their money, they are more concerned about how they will mop up the remaining money. I'm beginning to pity Emefailure now, he seem to be caught in a strong web of propaganda, he's just a tool in the hands of the cabal and Mr Bubu. They chose the right man though, because a man with any integrity would have resigned instead of agreeing to be used to punish his people

You people will never cease to amaze me! Integrity kwa? Prof Pastor Osibanjo is a senior pastor at Redeemed, a professor of law and vice president of Nigeria, did he resign when christians are being butchered like chicken even now the Fulanis are still killing has he condemned it with action? You only found your voice because Tinibu's old notes packed for vote buying during election is involved. Is this the first time Buhari is disobeying a court order?
See you see integrity... One won't even remember that you were among the people that voted for this Buhari twice!

CBN is not going back on this. The supreme court is not shifting. Some Nigerian people are still spending the old notes, while some are rejecting it.
We don't know the stand of the President or the Federal Government.

Are we not heading to crisis even when election is next week Saturday?

That's it, provided the new currency is rationed till election period is over.
It's not only Nigeria that changes currency notes. Other countries do without the present noise about currency redesign in Nigeria.
All the noise are from political rogues in Nigeria who wanted to buy election with wads of the old currency they stole from government
coffers and stockpiled. There is need to thwart their mission. Say no to a drug trafficking baron using drug money to buy election.
