Congratulations dear , Which school is this sis? am a nurse as well.

Eje18:
First I will congratulate myself. Congratulations to me. God has remembered me. I am sure most of you will know me here when I was complaining that my application has stayed for so long and no response. I am August 16 applicant.
After 10years UK ban, 3 times US refusal which I mentioned.
Just yesterday I got so frustrated and I cried a lot asking God why I have to wait for this long. I didn’t know God was waiting for me today. I got my PPR today feb 13th.
When I got the message I was at work about to serve medication. I am a registered Nurse. I just sat down I became scared, nervous. I felt my removing my cloths . I didn’t know what I was going to expect. But I gathered courage and served my medications then went into my car to check. Only to see the good news.
The documents I submitted was
-High school, bachelor
- ielts. Even tho it has expired in February I still submitted it that August
-CV and study leave letter from work.
-letter of acceptance from school
- School fees receipt . I paid full fees of 18,000 CAD
-bank transfer Slip
-Bank statement: my Niara account of 5 million and my dollar account of 8000usd. I submitted MBS for naira and I printed for dollar account
-land evaluation
- land papers, car papers
-upfront medicals
-marriage certificate
- passport showing my visit to SA in 2017 and 2021
- husband and children passport
-all IMM forms
- birth certificate and children birth certificate
- CV
-Police clearance.

passport is not required for them, you can use statement of results, there is no requirement anywhere in the Nigeria or Canada for divorced or separated to drop husbands surname.you need to get admission in a school first before applying.

Thank you sir.

I have admission already and have even paid part tuition.

Goodmorning house.
Please for those of us that did biometrics in the month of August last year, were you given any biometrics slip. Because I wasn’t given any. Only a small white sticker carrying my name and biometric ID was attached to the photocopy of my passport page.
because now they said requirement for passports stamp is biometric slip. I don’t have it. Do I submit that sticker along side as my own slip.
Please is there any1 in my situation.

Go and submit your passport. It's just that white sticker attached to your passport that is required. They have stopped that pink/yellow biometric slip.

Ikay...seems you are yet to pay your tuition deposit. I sometimes shared with you how I paid mine.

I got a UBA Dollar card for $4 USD and funded it with dollars bought from Aboki to cover the $1500 cad. With that, I paid my deposit seamlessly online. That should help you except you don't want that route.

Please i have few questions. PLEASE SOMEONE ANSWER ABEG🙏🙏

I have 3 kids but i am applying alone and using them as home ties.
Do i prepare international passport for them?
Will their data page be requested during the course of my study permit application?

Secondly my certificate is still yet to be released from Ambrose Alli University (i graduated since 2007 ooo and i applied for certificate 2 years and even paid someone to help me monitor it, yet its still dragging). But i have my transcripts{original copy) and statement of result. Will statement of result be sufficient?

Lastly, ex husband and i are currently seperated (over 2 years and no hope of reconciliation), will this in any way hinder my application since i am still a answering his surname name and my applications and majority of my docs and bank accounts are in his surname.

Hello Legitme,

Concerning the children passport data page, you don't really need their passport data page for your application since they are not going with you, except you just want to get it now and keep till they are ready to join you. Their birth certificate, NIN slips and their pictures is ok for your application.

2. Your transcript and statement of result is ok for you since you have your LOA already.

3. Don't really have much to say about this since I don't know if you were legally married/legally divorced. Bit be rest assured that his consent will be required for the children to join you later.

Cheap is relative. What is cheap to me could be expensive to you. But I will recommend you do some search on schools in the Atlantic regions. Most schools don't require English test as long as you were taught in English while you were in school

Anyone know if Royal Roads University would settle for a Letter from my faculty that I was taught in English to show English proficiency instead of IELTS

PPR: 13th February, 2023

Study permit Application for Family of 3, myself and 2 kids. Hubby, grandmother, dad and siblings as home ties, Including landed properties and a thriving business

DIY application with lots of help from friends and Nairaland. I cant even lie, this platform is a blessing, I come here everyday to cool off my anxiety and get massive encouragement. I pray that everyone waiting will sooner than later have their PPR in Jesus name.

At the end of the day, your best bet is God.

Please, there was no PPR on my children's profile (I applied for study permit for them). Is there something wrong or this is how it goes? Am I to go ahead and submit their passports with mine irrespective?

Congratulations on your PPR. I guess you submitted 2 separate applications for your two kids under your own account. If yes, separate passport request letter should drop in each of the children applications. Though your application is treated as a joint or family application, each application must have its own passport request letter.

I hope this help.

Omo bro thanks for the update,I did my research on This 1+1 route it's nice tbh,but my question is if one does Graduate Certificate for one year and do another Graduate Certificate for one year, wheather e go Still count

It should, technically you would have spent 2 years studying when you're done thereby qualifying you for 3 years PGWP

Good evening everyone

I hope we are all coping well?

Please I have got a quick question to ask
I am about applying to Camosun college in BC for a post graduate diploma for fall 2023.
I. Is Camosun college good and how fast do they process application?

2. What is the non refundable tuition fee deposit before LOA is issued?

3. How affordable is their tuition fee per year?

I will appreciate updates on this college make I no go enter one chance please.

Help a sister!!!
Thank you.

1. You can search on google to see some online reviews about the college, their application decision might not be known except you see someone who has applied there.
2. The Non refundable fee can be provided by the school, either from their website or grad office.
3. Check how much they charge and determine if that is affordable to you or not.

What have you been doing in the last 17 years as par career? I hope it is related to health or social work?

My career has been Admin related but nothing social work or health. I put Personal support worker because I learnt they are in demand in Canada and easy to get work after studies. My concern if this is a red flag to the visa officer.

Kirfred:
Thanks to everyone, I pray that it will end in praise for everyone waiting for their PPR🙏
I'm still in surprise how my application was processed within 5 days. It can only be God

This is my timeline-
4 years course
May resumption
I did Biochemistry in my first degree, graduated in 2010. But I've been into business since 7 years ago, I decided to study Business economics (Bsc)

First application Submitted October 3rd, 2022
Biometric: 17th October, 2022
Upfront Medical test: 14th November, 2022
Visa refused: 20th December, 2022

Reason: Insufficient fund and insufficient documentation to support my sponsors

I submitted all the neccessary documents but I didn't notarized any of the letters of my sponsors. My husband and my brother are my sponsors. I had #4.5 in my naira account and $7,500 in my dollar account. My 2 sponsors had more than 80,000 USD in their dollar accounts. I paid 11,500 CAD to my school account. So I thought my financial aspect is settled, not until I was refused. I didn't submitted any of my property documents in my first application.
I was to resumed 9th of January before, I sent mail to school to seek for another resumption date. I was given 2 options of May and September. So I chose May resumption

I submitted again 4th Feburary, 2023

I paid another 3500 CAD into my school account thru my husband dollar account to makes it 15,000 CAD and I paid another 10,000 CAD thru Form A from my naira account (which hasn't dropped into my school account as at the time I reapplied)

My brother transferred #9.5M into my account while my husband transferred 12,500 USD into my Domiciliary account . And they both submitted accounts of 80,000 USD. I have #11.5 in my naira account and 15,000 USD in my dom account

Both of my sponsors sworn an affidavit of giving me 25,000 CAD each year throughout my study stay and they indicated that the money they transferred into my account was part of the money they promised and they will balance up b4 school resumes

I submitted all our landed properties documents (empty lands of 4 plots, shopping complex, four flats building and uncompleted duplex building). Also my car documents

My husband helped me with another comprehensive SOP and detailed Letter of explanation

I submitted enough family pictures

My sponsors wrote sponsorship letters and proof of relationship letters (All notarized) while I added my marriage certificate to my husband own and birth certificate to my brothers own.

Other documents are
Admission letter
School account (15,000 CAD)
Bsc certificate
Neco result
Transcript
NIN slip
Birth certificates of my children
My birth certificate
Israeli visa
Police clearance (expired)
CAC certificate
CV
My brother's company CAC certificate
My brother's ICAN certificate
My husband pay slips

Submitted 4th February, 2023
PPR: 9th, Feburary

I hope this help someone

Please i need your advise.

kinkyfrag:
Good Evening House,

Thank you for all you do.

Please I have a couple of questions to enable me proceed further. My Bsc is in Microbiology and pgd in computer science. My work experience is in IT (information technology). I want to apply to a college in Canada because university is quite expensive.

1. Do I apply for a health related course that is closely related to my bsc and no work experience or do I apply for an IT course using both my bsc and post graduate diploma based on my work experience in IT to go for an Ontario graduate certificate. I am trying to apply for the right path to avoid rejection from the school admission

2. And also to avoid Visa rejection.
3. Also, so that it will be in line when it comes to pr.

I know the question is a lot but your advise will go a long way for me.

Thank you.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Chidinma54055: 3:29pm On Feb 14, 2023
I was denied last week due to the same reason. It’s better to go for a course related to your previous course of study or your current career. Unless you can write a good SOP to convince the VO. I got admission for the same course and my visa was refused. So it’s better you go for an admin related program

Hello guys,

Please I need clarification, My program is for two years and 4 semesters. But in my offer letter they only stated the total amount for 2 semesters. What about the remining semesters? does it mean I won't pay for the remaining two semesters? Please anyone with answer can help. Let me know how to plan myself.
