List of documents. I submitted 31st of January and it was issued on the 7th o February and I got it by ups on 8. 1 week interval.

I am a company owner but yet I still pay myself monthly salary. Tax card. Land documents, marriage, daughter birth certificate, my house tenancy agreement. CAC. Just make you demonstrate strong ties to Nigeria. And make

you you run the account like you are the owner. Only my salary that comes into the account nothing else and I use it as daily activities. So it shows I’m spending my salary.

Could you provide a more detailed list pls?
Like your travel history, what type of visa you applied for “tourist or business visa”?
Invitation by family/friend or hotel reservation?
Did you submit your business statement of account or not ?

Hello gurus in the house. I just got my first France visa. I followed this tutorial here from everyone and God made it possible. My question is that do have to present Covid 19 negative test? And I saw a paper attached to my visa that I should present myself to VFS upon return. Is it mandatory I go there when I get back?
You better go back jẹjẹ or pray they would have scrapped VFS by the time you return

You can appeal but most often is a waste of time. Your appeal letter will be written in French language and will be submitted in Nante France not in Nigeria. You might likely not get any response, is advisable to repackage your application well and reapply .

That's not true... he could write an email directly to the French embassy here in Nigeria referencing the application number and URN, and the email will be treated accordingly. I'm a living witness.

The crucial part is writing a convincing appeal email with genuine intentions and the refusal will be overturned.

Almost all refusal letter in French embassy comes with right to appeal and most time is a waste of time to appeal.
Appeal letter are written in French language and submitted in Nante france not in lagos . The directive Is written on the refusal letter

I was denied my first visa application in 2019 i appeal through my sponsor in France they only acknowledge receipt of the letter and did not hear from them again until reapply in 2020 I have gotten French visa twice since them.

I was denied my first French visa application so as did one of my colleagues. I wrote them directly and was granted. I encouraged my colleague to do the same thing, in fact, his case was very unusual as he got a call from the embassy to come with his passport and his family. he got his visa approved and stamped right at the embassy in Ikoyi. As stated in my previous post that a very convincing email is required with genuine intentions.

Mine was in September 2019 while my colleague was in February 2020 before Covid-19. There is no need for this back and forth, the guy involved should give it a shot.

Hello Guys,

Please, I have a couple of questions.. ..

1. Is there anyone who is able to assist in getting an expedited VFS appointment date for France Schengen visa. I was able to get March 6th, but my travel dates are March 18-26, and this does not give the required 15 days required to process the visa. It's a short stay tourist Visa.

2. I just got a US Visa 2 weeks ago and I am yet to use it and I have never traveled out, can I indicate I'm a frequent traveler?

3. Someone suggested that I can apply for Italy Schengen, that they have walk-in submission option. How valid is this? Can I use the Italian Schengen to travel to Paris as a first time traveler?

4. If I don't get an expedited appointment and I decide to go ahead with the March 6th for submission, do you think it's worth the risk (10 working days)? Is there a possibility that the Visa may be issued before March 18th?

So sorry for the long post cheesy

French visa application don’t really take upto 15 days to be out some persons get the passport back within 6 days

2. I just got a US Visa 2 weeks ago and I am yet to use it and I have never traveled out, can I indicate I'm a frequent traveler?

Yes you can use it as frequent travel. When I got my first visa I did not use it because of Covid 19 period and I apply with it as a travel history, VFS did not reject it and I got my visa .

3. Someone suggested that I can apply for Italy Schengen, that they have walk-in submission option. How valid is this? Can I use the Italian Schengen to travel to Paris as a first time traveler?

Yes you can use any Schengen visa to enter any Schengen country. Find out Italy visa processing time it might be longer than French visa processing time.

4. If I don't get an expedited appointment and I decide to go ahead with the March 6th for submission, do you think it's worth the risk (10 working days)? Is there a possibility that the Visa may be issued before March 18th?

You can give it a try, your visa might be ready within 5 days

See above the email address you have requested. U need to write a very convincing email as why you feel the refusal was not justifiable and why you feel you should have been granted. Convince them that your intentions are genuine, however, be sure you are truthful. I just got my visa approved again today. Submitted last week Tuesday, got a mail yesterday and the parcel was delivered with visa stamped.

The processing turnaround time is fast, based on my experience (typically under 15 working days) but to avoid delays as one can never tell, you should keep checking to see if an earlier slot opens up.

2. I just got a US Visa 2 weeks ago and I am yet to use it and I have never traveled out, can I indicate I'm a frequent traveler?

No idea on this. More people can chime in.

3. Someone suggested that I can apply for Italy Schengen, that they have walk-in submission option. How valid is this? Can I use the Italian Schengen to travel to Paris as a first time traveler?

With schengen, and from experience they advise you apply at the embassy that's your first port of entry i.e. if due to reasons mentioned here, you decide to go the Italy route, you will need to spend some time in Italy before moving to France. Just important to be aware of this.

4. If I don't get an expedited appointment and I decide to go ahead with the March 6th for submission, do you think it's worth the risk (10 working days)? Is there a possibility that the Visa may be issued before March 18th?

Do see response under question no.1

it very mandatory to appear back ,i was given same letter too on my first Schengen from italy and another from France
so you need to appear.
as for the other letter it just given to you about condition of covid in their country and rules to follow,
AT POE COVID card is not been check again, but will advise you to get one,
no need of COVID 19 test

Hmm, I had the same note in my passport when I got my first France visa last year, but I didn’t go back to Vfs. I never understood what it meant nor had anyone who understood it too. Also, I travelled to Côte d’Ivoire a day after I came back to Nigeria from France so I wasn’t even around to make the appointment if I had any info on it.
Does this mean any harm or perhaps future applications? Should I be scared? Cause I’m at the verge of applying for another visa and this has me worried. Is there a fix?
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Newbiein2016: 6:09am On Feb 15, 2023
From comments here, there's the likelihood you might be denied for not adhering to this.

Folks who have passed through your same experience shared that they found it difficult renewing their visa and in some cases had up to 2 rejections before finally getting the visa again.

Given this has already occurred, your best bet will be to address why you didn't show up and provide all proof that you came back when you were scheduled to. Include all and every work related evidence and any other subsequent trips taken to indicate stronger home ties.

I'm not sure how much this will help but for this next round of application, you must be even more intentional and provide every single document to support your application.

Read a couple pages back for a lady who was approved for a 1year visa after a rejection and the documents she provided.

Good luck!
