I have never seen a book called Lawn Boy before we can even talk about reading it. I have only seen a few passages from a single page posted here. I have no idea the plot or synopsis of the book. So I honestly have no opinion for or against. The issue of its appropriateness for a school library should be between the parents, teachers and school authorities. What I don't even understand is whether the book is part of the school or state curriculum. Is it part of any subject taught at the school?
As I insist, this is a school (or at worst a few schools) issue. How it got into a national frenzy that necessitated banning and vetting all books in all schools in Florida is beyond me.

I get you . Open carry an assault weapon. But I guess 99% of these kids carrying guns openly can shoot better than the chicago thugs. The most prolific sniper with most kills in America ( immortalised in a film- the American sniper ) was shooting a rifle with his dad at 6 years and he became a top marine sniper. In Iraq he saved a lot of lives because he could take down the enemy from afar. I think its a trade off. You want good snipers let kids start shooting when then they are young

If you go to the home of anyone asking for books to be banned you'd find those books on their shelves. You got to read them to know what's in them to critique them, so blacks sure would read them, and whites would at least want to know what you banning, so they'd read them too.
