PLEASE GUYS, I AM STILL AT INFO GATHERING STAGE. HELP EXPLAIN THIS TO ME

Hello good people, Trust you all are having a nice time.

Please I have a question about upfront Medicals

Is it possible to do upfront Medical and not present it then wait for medical request before submitting?

Please I need to know this.

Thank you always guys, congratulations to those who already got PPR and in advance to those on the wait list

Thank you Chidinma for the heads-up. I know you will get that PPR, never give up!
Chidinma54055:
I was denied last week due to the same reason. It’s better to go for a course related to your previous course of study or your current career. Unless you can write a good SOP to convince the VO. I got admission for the same course and my visa was refused. So it’s better you go for an admin related program
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by skentelelady(f): 6:31pm On Feb 14, 2023
odogwu4real:

My career has been Admin related but nothing social work or health. I put Personal support worker because I learnt they are in demand in Canada and easy to get work after studies. My concern if this is a red flag to the visa officer.
This will not fly. Look for a course related to Administration. When you get to Canada by His grace, you can then change to PSW

The medical examiners send the results to IRCC whether you send or not, so you can keep your slip.

3 academic years = 8 months per year.

8 months * 3 = 24 months (2 years)

So your duration is 2 years.

All the best.

Hello, note that advance diploma programs are mostly 3 academic years (6 semesters) as stated on your LOA. Each academic year to be completed in 8 months...That is what I can deduce from that letter. Please wait for contributions from others.

PLS HELP: STUDY QUESTION ABOUT MONTREAL

Please I applied for MENG program in Uni Concordia already. I didn't know it's Quebec where French is official language.
Now I have a serious double mind. I applied to other schools as well. I intend on making this trip with family. And want PGWP and PR
after studies.

WILL I BE ABLE TO ACHIEVE MY POST-STUDY GOALS IN QUEBEC WITHOUT FRENCH LANGUAGE SKILLS ?

Thanks

Please senior OLAMINREWA, I have a quick question to ask you about Conestoga, after you paid tuition deposit fee of $1,500 CAD, do you pay another part of your tuition fee before you apply for a visa?

Tuition deposit fee of 1,500 you first paid when you gotten your LOA, pls when will you pay for another tuition fees ? Is it until you resume your program in Canada that you will pay the balance of your 1 semester? OR

Can you please tell me CONESTOGA tuition fees plan after deposit fee of $1,500 ?

Application to Conestoga in November 2022, against Fall intake 2023. Got the LOA in 2 weeks

Program - Occupational health safety and wellness
Duration - 1 year

I have HND in computer science and I presently work as aircraft firefighter (Pana Pana is going to Canada). I could remember coming here to seek for advice on my best bet and @lekibobo, @makano, @justmellow and @omiinii all advised that I stand a better chance going with anything related to my job. Lekibobo specifically mentioned OHSW at Conestoga. That was just all I needed to fire the shot.

I paid for my tuition deposit of 1500 cad same day I got the LOA using Aboki Dollar and tidied all my documents accordingly.

Let me mention that I did not include Police character certificate, land documents or other property documents because I do not have any of those things. It is true that 2 applications cannot be the same, sometimes too much of documents even can get Visa Officers confused. The above listed documents were all I submitted. It is good to read people's TL to be encouraged but some TL will get you intimidated and confused. My application was a self- sponsored. And all I submitted as POF was 10.4m

I am a first time applicant and I have never traveled out of Nigeria before. I never enter plane before self despite the fact that I work at the airport until last month that I went for medical and biometric. Travel history is not a criteria.

The total of my tuition for the 1 year is about 20,000 cad + 10,000 cad living expenses+ 3000 cad miscellaneous.

How I addressed POF.

My salary is around 100k. I knew for sure that it is too little to present as monthly earnings. what I did was to use all the 1.7m I had in 2021 to buy Toyota Corolla. I planned running bolt with it for a good 1 year before submitting my application. I explained that I drive my car on bolt platform on part-time basis anytime am off duty. Each month I make sure i make over 100k net profit from bolt. I submitted 12 months MBS to show that I truly make such money from bolt. I collected a loan of 8m from a co-op society, collected 2m from a friend because I knew the 8m won't be enough to show as POF. I wrote in the LOE that this my friend was a long time friend (classmate) which was true. He had sent money to me (vice versa) severally in 2022. I also showed pictures of us together in 3 different occasions (in school,at my engagement and at a function) and also included his international passport. Someone in Canada even advised that I should not include him that nobody gives anyone such money in Canada, that even parents don't give their children money. But I had no other story to cook because the money had already been sent to my account. I also made sure I paid 1m into my spouse account to augment her salary for her and the children's upkeep so the VO will believe that nobody go press my neck for money in Canada. In my LOE, I also mentioned that while I would be away, there is an arrangement on ground to employ a driver that will drive my car on a FULL TIME basis with weekly remittance of #30,000 to my account and to be managed by my spouse. The weekly 30k + my monthly salary+ other annual benefits from my employer resulted to additional 3m+ (about 10k cad)

How I addressed hometie

Apart from the fact that my family (spouse and children) and job are strong home tie. I became a volunteer with Red cross society of Nigeria just for the purpose of ID card and pictures, and I got that. I also collected a letter from my church. You can buy a pet (🐶, 🐱, 🦁, chicken 🐔) and add it to yours as hometie in your application. Include their vetinary cards and other documents.

Please note, keep your application as simple as possible, no allow NL use TL press your neck. Submit your application as early as possible so you can have peace of mind, and plan your departure well. All the experience I have today was gotten from here because I have been following since 2020. I also handled a friend's application last year. Submitted application Aug 16, 2022 and PPr Dec 26, 2022.... In all one cannot rule out the importance of prayers. I read here where people engage in different and lengthy spiritual practices. I also prayed and fasted for just 3 days and God got involved.

Submit your pending applications now......

I pray that God will come through for as much as many applications this year, especially those ones that that overdue/overstayed for a decision.

I'm available to answer questions hear....if you come to my TL for private engagement or documents, na billing ooooo.... Looking for Raba noww

Please how did you solve the issue of neco scratch card?

Evening house please do anyone knows about Saskatchewan polytechnic and hope a year program wit a year pgwp leads to pr?

Hi @Ojaydaddy28, I'd recommend you watch this video:
https://www.youtube.com/live/qQrmOdqlKlg?feature=share

When you study and work afterwards in Saskatchewan, it gives you some points in the Saskatchewan PNP.
Refer to the calculator here:
https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/live-in-saskatchewan/by-immigrating/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/browse-sinp-programs/applicants-international-skilled-workers/assess-your-eligibility

My humble opinion, for whatever course you intend to study:
1. go online and search what jobs exist in that field
2. start compiling those job descriptions into a notepad text document
3. Highlight the highly sought after skills and start working on them from now.
4. Do your homework of the viable Saskatchewan Employers

Implementation: once you arrive to start at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, you start tailoring your resume and sending it out, work your away to a TEER 1, 2, 3 level job.
Impress your employer enough for them to give you a letter of reference after 6 months, apply for provincial nomination.
Check the average processing time: https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/live-in-saskatchewan/by-immigrating/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/check-application-processing-times-for-sinp

Hope this helps
If you follow this, you can apply for Provincial Nomination that gives you additional 600 points to be added to your EE profile
