There's no hospital that will have a child with a life threatening surgical emergency and still keep waiting for you to make a successful transfer before he/she can be taken to the theatre.

When i was in Nigeria during the covid-19 period in 2020, i operated on many children/adolescents with acute appendicitis in Portharcourt, most of whose parents never deposited any kobo.

In fact, according to my friend who owns that hospital, one of the parents hasn't completed his bill till this moment.

So, stop blackmailing Nigerian hospitals and medical professionals.

If you want to beg for money, just be straightforward about it.

I felt really sad after reading this. However, when I started seeing others saying it's a scam, I'm beginning to wonder also.

How heartless will a doctor be to abandon a child because of poor network. It's not like the parent has no money at all.

Then the OP now starts talking of Turkey and how he or she sent money to someone there.

It will be really crazy if this is cooked up. There's nothing as painful as losing a loved one. I've been there, it's horrible and I pray that this OP doesn't wish such on himself or herself if this happens to be a lie.

It's so painful to see my precious baby give up his last breath before my very eyes.
After struggling for hours but yet he couldn't make it.
We tried to get cash for the surgery but all to no avail. Transfer wouldn't go through either and all pleas to the doctors fell on deaf ears.

Hubby is also out of town and I had to do everything on my own running from the hospital to the bank and back to the hospital, driving all through town to look for POS operators with exorbitant charges to withdraw from but nothing.

I gave hubby the news and he was speechless till now so we only have a daughter as our only child with us now.
My Kid Brother barely survived the earthquake in Turkey were he lives but I'm glad he is recuperating in the hospital.


Forgive my long epistle but I just needed somewhere to pour out the contents of my heart since I'm alone with a 3 year old child.
