pufframmy: This is 3 years as it is written in your LOA. You have to factor in the break in between the sessions. Though the total is 29 months with the break that will make it 3 years. This is my opinion 1 Like |

Kindly help me out on this; My wife application got approved last year 28th of December after her school's deadline to submit the evidence of her visa approval or defer the admission to the next intake which was on the 12th of December 2022. We later reach out to the school after receiving the PPR probably if she could still meet up with January 2023 intake but that was not possible even May intake was not available as at December 2023. To cut the long story short, she has even missed the September 2023 intake as that one has closed too while we were hoping she could get May 2023 intake. However, we've submitted another request for January 2024 and hopefully she will have the letter of admission soon. My concern is when can she travel after receiving the new letter of admission because her student visa expires by November 2023. Please advice |

My people, pls I want to commence my visa application soon. Between the old portal and the new portal which one is better? I have volume of documents to submit. Secondly, when attaching and submitting my documents, like building Plan and Approval and other land documents, should I upload it as one doc or separate it? Currently one of the files is over 15kb. Thanks |

beccadamilola: I’m thinking of self sponsorship, I just started POF for month of February while im thinking of printing out bank statement between February- April which is 3months bank statement instead of 4months. Is it advisable to print out 4months. If I print out 4months bank statement I will have to submit my application by June. I’m not sure if a decision will be made before August 4th because I’m expected to submit my visa status to my school on or before august 4th. So I’m really confused at this point. I need help. In addition the money that was credited in my account was the money I got from my car that I sold. This money is my personal money, do I still have to wait for 4months to prove that the money is my personal money on there’s another way I can go about it so I can submit my application earlier. Thanks |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by emmyoddy: 3:56pm On Feb 15, 2023 |
babineli: For proper guidance, I think you need to tell how much you have and how many years program you are going for. The money has to stay in the account and you have to give evidence of transaction for lump sum. Feb to may is 4 months which is the standard. PPR can/may also come before August based on the fast timelines we are seeing. All the best |

Hello everyone, please I need some advise . I got admission to school in Canada for a PGD, September 2023 class. I plan to use school route to relocate myself and Family of 5. I have paid the Deposit Tuition fee and just got Letter of acceptance to go for my Visa application. However, I want my Wife to join me so we can both work to payoff the school fees faster and move the kids over. But I don't have enough funds to justify POF for both of us. My wife has MBA now and just wrote IELTS exam with 7.5 score. We have decided to hold on my study visa application and apply for PR using my Wife qualification who is also younger (37yrs) using the available Documents / Fund as POF. My plan is If we wait from February to May 2023, and no positive update from embassy we drop the PR route, and pursue my school route and submit my application. Which was the original plan. Please is this a good plan ?? What am I missing |

Well, Quebec has a special PR program for their graduates but you must have worked in the province for a year and you need a FRENCH exam. However, you can as well move to another province to work after graduation. chiboy2023: |
