It's actually not just an attempt to bully me. And, by saying that it's like you're purposefully covering your eyes. He does it to other people as well. And it's destructive lies he makes up. And that's the only reason why I decided to push back more. But honestly, it's allowed to happen because he feels comfortable here, and has the likes of basilico, ben, etc. to support him. And the majority of posters here, don't push back when they do. So, this forum and thread has allowed his bullying.
I agree with both you and Budatuum. We just have different ways of handling issues. I don't think we should knock each other for the way we approach issues.

Been thinking about US power. Was in Panama and I was impressed with the level of development. When I visited the museum I realized it was largely due to the Panama Canal which the US completed/owned (great impact of US economy and International Trade) up until Carter negotiated to give back to them in 2000. Didn't know any of this. The whole Panama locks (way or raising/lowering ships for the two differing levels of bodies of water) was very impressive. Anyhow, thought of our Politics and whether the US could do anything like that nowadays. I think the US considers Ukraine in the same vain (necessary for economic development). Learned most of this during a guided tour of a museum and the Locks, so if I'm off let me know. Pics below.

The individual under discussion can not come for anything, and fueling it's juvenile attention seeking only encourages it to seek more of your valuable time.

It's like the dunce kid getting the teachers attention thereby depriving others of the opportunity to learn. A good teacher does not ignore the rest of the class.

Dude, Chill. listen to budaatum, But your attention-seeking craze will not let you. You are usually the first to try and bully someone here. and people like you are the ones who usually fold when you get the same treatment.

don't conflate push back to bragging.

I don't support him. I Hardly talk to him. I only do it when we have something to talk about. Each time he has suggested to me not to tolerate you... I tell him, I can mess around with people, but if they are not stepping on my toes, I will be Nice and friendly to them.

When I first got here... the Guy I call your father was insulting me. Without knowing who I am, where I have been, where I work etc. He said I am poor, my parents are poor and he can feed my entire generation. I usually don't respond to him. He speaks like you... If you have not been in a plane, or if you have not been in the US... blabla, you can't have an opinion. Just like you, he does not say this thing to the people who align with his idea that are in Nigeria.

So cry all you want. as for me, I have asked you not to be naive with your idea that people can't have opinions because they are not in the US.
But for Basilico, what is your beef with him? the dude barely mentions your name. He is one of the nice guys here... takes a lot of crap but he still composes himself. why mention him up and down?

you are emotionally weak but you are the first to always pick a fight. I have told you before, no one is forcing you to be here. if you cannot handle what you dish out, Vamoose

Ask yourself, how many posts like this have you written to Sly? That answer should help inform you whether you are an enabler or not.

Let me be frank. I don't care what you think. Until you live somewhere, experience something, study something, and if not come into a conversation with the view that you most likely aren't in the know, you're opinions are largely worthless... to me.

And FYI. During the pandemic some of my white friends let their new found ability to say racist stuff due to the atmosphere Trump created, free them of their inhibitions. I made the decision to first let them know and if they continued to separate them from my life. The stuff you write in these posts and propagate in this thread are equally offensive, even more so that you are a Nigerian. So, this is my last post to you and no need to respond to me as I won't to you. Pax.

Republican N.J. Councilman Was Fatally Shot by Former Colleague.

Investigators believe "prior employment disciplinary actions between subordinate and supervisor," led Gary T. Curtis, 58, a former worker with the energy company, to shoot Russell D. Heller, 51, the morning of Feb. 8 , according to a press release from the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.

Detectives were able to track Curtis to a parking lot in Bridgewater Township, where he was found inside a vehicle suffering from a "self-inflicted gunshot wound," the release states. He was later pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

It's not about aligning, but about learning from. That said, Nigeria has aligned with US since after our Civil War. We after all did not adopt the political systems of Russia or China. What we seem to be adopting from China at least is the opportunity to sell our goods. Basically, we align where there's market.

I think Nigeria aligns/relates more with the USA than China or Russia. Russia is not even in the equation at all. Forget the Putin's Nairaland rave in the foreign section. They are insignificant.

With China through the Belt and Road Initiative, China now accounts for 12% of Africa’s $696 billion external debt. Outside the BRI program, chinese have other inroads into Africa though by lending to the average African/Nigerian man on the street. The internet/app loan menace often discussed on Nairaland and outside Nairaland are the creations of Chinese loan sharks.

The Appeal to ignorance Fallacy. You are Harvard's best student yet you continue to show how dumb you are. What happened?
your mumu statement implies that a person's opinions are largely worthless if they have not had certain experiences or studied a certain topic, which is an attack on the person making the argument rather than the argument itself. For you, if someone hasn't had a particular experience or studied a specific topic, they are ignorant and therefore their opinions are invalid. the strength of an argument is what is most important, Not the plane they entered or the visa stamps they have.

Make sure you control your Notice-me urge and not respond to me as you said. Because what you have to say is always Dumb(harvard)

I have a particular message for my fellow Republicans: We’ve lost the popular vote in seven of the last eight presidential elections.

Our cause is right—but we have failed to win the confidence of a majority of Americans.

Well—that ends today.

If you’re tired of losing, then put your trust in a new generation.

And if you want to win – not just as a party, but as a country – then stand with me!

Mitt Romney Issues Urgent Warning About Trump's Path To 2024 GOP Nomination.

A large field of presidential contenders in 2024 could lead to a redo of the 2016 presidential race and help make Donald Trump the Republican presidential nominee once again, according to Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah).

“The only way that [scenario] could be prevented is if it narrowed down to a two-person race eventually. That means donors and influencers say to their candidate ― if they’re weakening: ‘Hey, time to get out,’” Romney told HuffPost in an interview on Tuesday.

“Last time that was done was in 1968, so it’s been a while,” Romney added, referring to the 1968 presidential election in which his father George Romney took part.

There's a strong hunting culture in Missouri, which is a fact, I don't know what you're arguing here.

The bill was going to stop teenagers from going hunting. That's probably why it didn't get enough support.

Hunting for what? In the 21st century? How many game is still out there that all millions of Missouri males (from teens) are expected to hunt constantly and periodically?

Then what types of guns are we even talking about? Hunting guns, rifles, handguns or even adult rifles? I don't know understand the obsession of Republicans with guns. Guns have nothing to do with conservativism.

I don't agree that Nigeria should align with the US. We should not align with anyone, but continue to be non aligned. We go with who best serves our interest (both short and long term interests). The US has proven to be an unreliable ally. Those third world countries that aligned with the US has nothing to show for it outside US teleguided democracy, US culture and morals and US aids that's akin to a Greek gift.

Agreed to a degree. I think there is a danger in aligning with China morally, and because of the ease of doing business and travelling there, that is more apt to happen. Was speaking to a friend who is a player in the Naija Finance world. Was saying something about China, and he said, nah, China isn't that bad. Was interesting sentiment given who he is and it caused me to 1.) do a double take and 2.) make a note to reconsider my views. Which itself was interesting.

Esp. after visiting Panama, are these countries/places that heavily partnered with the US worse off? Places like South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong? I don't know.. But I am curious. Cuz, I'm not sure Nigeria has the ability to get where it needs to go anywhere soon. Not because we as a people aren't bright, but because our government doesn't have the ability.

A 16 year old is too young for a social media account, but a child of any age (even a toddler) can lawfully possess a firearm without supervision in the state of Missouri.
