This happens most of the time. It has nothing to do with fake documents.

Once you've been informed that your passport or other travel document is ready for pickup, you have three months to pick it up.

Your passport or other travel document will be returned to the agency that issued it if you don't pick it up within three months.

Lagos: It will be returned to the immigration office in Ikoyi.

Abuja: It will be returned to immigration headquarters in Abuja.

Please any answer to this. It’s a child application, and his dad will be sponsoring. So how much should the child put that he spends monthly . I can’t leave it blank. He is travelling for 2 weeks as a tourist

a 16yrs old child is being given daily or weekly allowance to school for upkeep, multiply and calculate it for a whole month and you will arrive at the child's monthly expense.

The account has now been credited with a sufficient amount. I’ll like to know if this hinders the success of the application. Should I restart the application or go to the bank to let them know I’ve credited the the account ?

A quick response will be very appreciated

Log into your portal and rectify it from there, the last time I was rejected cos of flight number, I amended it from the portal after it was rejected.

If she didn’t receive any refusal mail, then it’s likely she got the visa. But first, I think she should check her spam box to see if anything is there. If nothing still, then she can only be hopeful until she gets her passport.

Are you saying I should send them a letter explaining that I didn’t have money in the account at that time? I called the customer care and they told me to reapply and wait for 60 days to get debited

I said log in to your portal, I created mine from cbn portal and it was rejected after some weeks. Which is a few days before my travel date, so I logged in to the portal again clicked on the application and the reason why I was rejected was shown on the form online, so I edited and corrected the detail then submit and after so days it was approved. I didn't write them, I don't know maybe in your situation you might need to write them if you still have time to wait.

Thanks for the prompt response. The next free date is in two weeks time. They won't open on some days due to the election. i don't want to pay extra fee. Maybe i'd move the appointment to an earlier date.

so banks are still giving pta?. how long did the whole process take?
do you have to know someone in the bank to help push it?
what bank were you successful in?

I'd advise that you edit the application if possible. If you begin another application, I hope it won't restrict the amount that you will be entitled to. My wife had a similar experience just about 2 weeks ago when her application for 2k USD was rejected because she didn't upload a certain document. Unfortunately she was only allowed on the CBN portal to apply for a 2K again when she filled another application despite the fact thst she had changed her mind and was willing to apply for the maximum 4k.
