Last year, I said I was happy with how Atiku was handling Wike/ Rivers by ignoring him. Wike is an attention whor.e and when you starve people like that of the attention, they become upset and erratic.

As it stands, Atiku has evaluated his/ PDP's chances in Rivers and I think he is okay if he doesn't pull the most vote in Rivers State. Consequently, it makes no sense going to Rivers and it has nothing to do with Wike because it is now obvious that Wike himself cannot guarantee any single party bloc votes from Rivers State.

Rivers State is traditionally a PDP State with strongholds in certain areas irrespective of Wike. They have established structures that go deep into the ward levels in those areas. Atiku will utilize these structures to gather as much as he can without expecting to win Rivers State. I think PDP can gather 25% of Rivers State without winning it. Asiwaju will also benefit immensely from this fluid state of Rivers State but I don't know about 25%.

APC's outing in Rivers state confirms everything I said here. @Itrsm, remember when I tell you last year say your guy no get levels for SS? Well, the proof is in the pudding! Man could not mobilize Rivers people from all the LGs for the campaign. Another evidence that Rivers is a PDP state with strong holds.

Yar Adua was a heavy smoker earlier in his life which contributed largely to his health issues.

The first two pictures were taking during Labour party's rally, the last two APCs rally.

Given how hated Tinubu is in town, you have to admit it was a very decent outing.

Anyway, the youth leader of the area I live who is also a core PDP man told me in confidence that while majority of his fellow party men are voting Tinubu based on Wikes instruction, he will be voting Atiku.

It remains to be seen how many of his type we have.

He also confirmed to me that there is a reward of 1m naira for any ward that delivers Tinubu. Again, it also remains to be seen how much of an effect this promise of money will have on voters especially with the situation of this country.
