To everyone who has been contributing their time and expertise on this forum, thank you for your assistance. I’m seeking your urgent advice on which of these schools to choose based on your experience. I hold an HND in Accountancy, and I have received an offer of admission for a Master's program from the University of New Haven, Connecticut and Lincoln University, California. Additionally, I have been provided with an I20 Lincoln university- 20K no funding/Business administration/family fund 62k University of New Haven-32k no funding/Accounting/family fund 32k I am currently keeping an eye out for updates from other universities to which I have applied. However, my interview is rapidly approaching. |

ramdell: Congratulations! Choose the cheaper option. Also ask if assistantships positions are typically available or try to ask your department for alternative sources of funding. Best of luck. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I submitted my transcript and they rejected it asking me to evaluate it and most people that applied there said they didn't evaluate theirs. resolution2020: |

Ojabo123:Do you have funding? |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by TheNoble007(m): 4:58am On Feb 16, 2023 |
Sisib15: The end goal of doing an advanced degree, is to get returns.. Some courses in the US are just useless, money making mills to cough out money from international students... Even the natives, shy away from such courses because they add no monetary value later on. FYI, STEM courses are the best.. If you're not in STEM, then try to do a MS. program that can be linked to STEM somehow. This increases your chances of funding as well as OPT extension after graduation, Green card (EB1-A &EB2-NIW) filing and many more. Peace. 7 Likes 1 Share |
