Agreed to a degree. I think there is a danger in aligning with China morally, and because of the ease of doing business and travelling there, that is more apt to happen. Was speaking to a friend who is a player in the Naija Finance world. Was saying something about China, and he said, nah, China isn't that bad. Was interesting sentiment given who he is and it caused me to 1.) do a double take and 2.) make a note to reconsider my views. Which itself was interesting.

Esp. after visiting Panama, are these countries/places that heavily partnered with the US worse off? Places like South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong? I don't know.. But I am curious. Cuz, I'm not sure Nigeria has the ability to get where it needs to go anywhere soon. Not because we as a people aren't bright, but because our government doesn't have the ability.

Sound like ah total gay. Ijedumb. America isa never ah make ah country ah rich jass by alignment ya fool. ah corrupt ah cantry like ah nigeria isa back ah words because of ah people like ya. ya donkey ye.

The Appeal to ignorance Fallacy. You are Harvard's best student yet you continue to show how dumb you are. What happened?
your mumu statement implies that a person's opinions are largely worthless if they have not had certain experiences or studied a certain topic, which is an attack on the person making the argument rather than the argument itself. For you, if someone hasn't had a particular experience or studied a specific topic, they are ignorant and therefore their opinions are invalid. the strength of an argument is what is most important, Not the plane they entered or the visa stamps they have.

Make sure you control your Notice-me urge and not respond to me as you said. Because what you have to say is always Dumb(harvard)

Twitter becomes first major social platform to allow weed ads

Elon Musk is backing up all his 420 tweets. The owner of Twitter, who sparked a media firestorm after he puffed on a spliff during an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, is making good on speculation that his acquisition of the platform might make it more cannabis-friendly. The company changed its policy to allow U.S. cannabis companies to advertise on its platform Tuesday — although with numerous restrictions.

I understand the points of both you and Budatuum.

Our cause is right—but we have failed to win the confidence of a majority of Americans.

And if you want to win – not just as a party, but as a country – then stand with me!

I'm nearing the place where I'm like "oh well... you elected those leaders". STD's running rampant because states are cutting funding for medical care, kids walking down the street with assault weapons, 13 year old's working, Governors allowing train companies to dump their maybe cancerous cargo to open up the train tracks, and I'm sure coming soon transmissible diseases like polio on the upswing because people don't believe in vaccinations anymore. I understand not all the people in the states voted for them, but how do you convince people to stop voting against their interests when all they seem to care about is owning those libs?

Or his new take on what is happening in Ohio. In one breath blaming Biden for not regulating an industry(It was Trump who cut back on the train regulations) without mentioning it is a Republican state and a state issue (you know republicans are against Federalism). But he will argue next week that there is too much regulation.

As, I said, it's performance politics, without a core understanding of the issues, nor even a plan to make it better.

The regulation that Trump cut back on where fire electronic pneumatic brakes for trains carrying class 3 flammables, this won't have cine into play during the accident.

The accident was caused by a broken axle, which led to a wheel falling off, so in no way did Trump's cut back on regulations come anywhere near to causing this accident.

Biden however, forced striking railway workers back to work. They were on strike because they were understaffed and didn't have enough time to complete tasks, such as safety checks. Biden forced them back into work without addressing this issue, and now when disaster occurred, you started bending over backwards, reaching, lying and coping to blame your ultimate ojuju.

But he will argue next week that there is too much regulation.

As, I said, it's performance politics, without a core understanding of the issues, nor even a plan to make it better.

Speaking to investigative news outlet The Lever, Steven Ditmeyer, a former top official at the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), said the "severity" of the accident was likely increased by the lack of Electronically Controlled Pneumatic (ECP) brakes.

A rule was passed under President Barack Obama that made it a requirement for trains carrying hazardous flammable materials to have ECP brakes, but this was rescinded in 2017 by the Trump administration.

The industry said it would cost more than $3 billion to implement. The FRA under Obama said it would be around half a billion.

The National Transportation Safety Board, a federal agency responsible for investigating rail accidents, told The Lever that the Ohio train that derailed was not fitted with ECP brakes.
"Would ECP brakes have reduced the severity of this accident? Yes," Ditmeyer said.

Obama introduced a regulation that Trump rescided. OK. Before Obame the trains had been operating for tens of years without his requirement which was basically a move to further govt control.
Now they want to blame Trump as if he is the train driver. Of course the media is spinning the lie it was Trumps fault.

Then what types of guns are we even talking about? Hunting guns, rifles, handguns or even adult rifles? I don't know understand the obsession of Republicans with guns. Guns have nothing to do with conservativism.

American conservatives, libertarians, and some classical liberals believe that guns are key to preventing government tyranny.

American conservatives, libertarians, and some classical liberals believe that guns are key to preventing government tyranny.

Gun control was the ‘truncheon’ wielded against blacks for decades, leaving them defenseless against the Democrat Party’s armed militia, the Ku Klux Klan. But those blacks who actually had a gun were made less susceptible to these vicious attacks, a fact that black civil rights leaders at the time vocally acknowledged.

I can't waste my time on debunking all your misinformation in this post. Again, This is a good example of performative politics.
1.) Fill your misinformation gap: There is a good read:
Then came 2017: after rail industry donors delivered more than $6 million to GOP campaigns, the Trump administration — backed by rail lobbyists and Senate Republicans — rescinded part of that rule aimed at making better braking systems widespread on the nation’s rails.

Specifically, regulators killed provisions requiring rail cars carrying hazardous flammable materials to be equipped with electronic braking systems to stop trains more quickly than conventional air brakes. Norfolk Southern had previously touted the new technology — known as electronically controlled pneumatic (ECP) brakes — for its “potential to reduce train stopping distances by as much as 60 percent over conventional air brake systems.”
https://jacobin.com/2023/02/rail-companies-safety-rules-ohio-derailment-brake-sytems-regulations

2.)You talked about Biden forcing workers back to work. Try this.. Figure out what position you think is right. Then, find the Biden position, the Republican position, the bill that passed, who voted for it, and what ended up being the final resolution. Hint: The Resolution was closer to what the train workers wanted which was closer to the Biden position and diametrically opposed to what Republicans wanted, and closer to what you've alluded to that you wanted.

What happened in Ohio is the Republican's worldview. Less regulation and corporate accountability to increase corporate profits, which leads to more things like this happening. In the end the cost of the tragedy is greater than the cost of the regulation would have been (this is going to be at a minimum a 1 billion dollar cost). But it doesn't matter to them, because the underrepresented bear it (by a coming cancer cluster and coming deaths), and the monetary costs are socialized through Federal spending. While people like you play your performative politics and cheer on your team/tribe. Well done.

Edit: This isn't Monday Morning quarterbacking. This was something that was proposed because those scientists and statisticians the right so loves to demean saw it as a distinct possibility. And instead of saying damn, the Trump team was wrong. You're spinning in pretzels.

To add insult to injury(probably because the Lawyers advised against it), the Railroad Company wouldn't even show up at the town hall meeting to answer questions from residents. Nigeria type nonsense.

Keep playing your soundbite game. Ask yourself what your end goal is. Is it to better understand this issue, understand what both parties believe on the issues, understand how to prevent the issue, or is to come up with soundbites that make you "feel" right?
