if you do it the right way, i'm not sure there will be hatred , but as for envy, women are natural bored when there's no competition or envy, they become a better version of them self when there's competition but the good thing is that they will be competing for your attention. Who will you have sex with at this point while millions of sperm are reproducing themselves every seconds in your body. see, I can bet my life that who ever designed man and woman didn't design a man to marry only one woman. Lets not even talk about the virginity seal they have that we don't have.

countries like UAE are polygamous by law therefore every women growing up in this region will only pray for her future husband to marry people she likes but its the other way round for Africans. uae is one of the most peaceful places on earth , you won't hear things like hatred between the wives because their mindset is different, to them , their husband did what their God wants, and nobody had told them from childhood that monogamy is better.

Hmm well in as much as we might not like stuffs like this we just have to follow suit because of our religion. My religion condemns this so doing it here is you intentionally building a war home.

And to tell you the truth it's tampers with your peace because like you said it will only work in a society where it's a generally accepted factor. In Africa it's not and if you try it there is a 98% possibility that peace will be far from you for the rest of your life.

I'm talking; wives envying and quarelling each other, both wife exchanging dirty blows because of a petty issue,
your wives dragging whose turn it is to get serviced,
your first wife always crying and complaining to several parties and forming the victim (make you look wicked and deceitful),
your wives being jealous of each of other kids and stuffs you get for them down to what they achieve in the future,
your kids being enemies of themselves because of envy,

It extends down to even your death when the real fight sometimes bloody one occur in the sharing of your properties (will or no will), this is the point they even hold everlasting grudge for each other.

Mehn! When you think of all this and most importantly observe what is happening you could attest that God is not a fool to have asked you to stay away from pologamy.

The fact is, it's not an accepted societal value down here in Africa neither does christiandom support it. This only works in a society where such things are accepted.
