Hessem: Money they almost returned to the bank. 2.1 trillion out of 2.7 trillion already returned to the bank. Do u think those people are not with millions of new notes now? Most of them also keep hard currencies like dollar, bcuz of flexibility in exchange rate of naira to dollar. People like atiku and Tinubu have less or nothing to lose. Masses are the one feeling the pain, losing businesses are facing hardship. 1 Like |

Muyiwabiggy: If they do,they will not be taking the government to court and begging for extension. That is the fact. When others no affect them, them no vex, but this one wey affect them, them dey vex. That is to show you how much it has affected them That is the truth. You can keep on arguing 4 Likes |

dat9jaguy: Accepted. Authorized means he has given the go ahead. That is the CBN has the full backing of the president on this matter. This is reason why the didn't bother with the Court decision. If not why would CBN Governor alone disobey Supreme Court? My point is that if you want to blame, blame the real person that gave the permission (Buhari) not the messanger (CBN Governor). Buhari never said it was the CBN Governor idea alone or joint decision. 1 Like |

Buhari should go & sitdown with his nonscesical steps to cause hardship for Nigerians the Politicians that you targeted had already crossed the bridge that is why the masses can have access to new notes,I heard from someone don't know how true it is that politicians had deviced a means of sharing money to those that will vote for them through scratch cards after loading the money will be credited into ones account......hmmmm meaning they too had gone cashless in distributing money to voters to vote for them. 1 Like |

God bless the president of the federal republic of Nigeria and it's great people. We're marching forward. We should have good account of the money in circulation with the central bank. People should not hoard the currency for any reason whatsoever, that's sensible. 1 Like |

For the first time Buhari is sounding like a president- Sensible, reassuring and convincing. But sadly this is coming after 8yrs. Perhaps if this policy came up 4/5 yrs ago, we would have been better off by now. Let's vote wisely for the next president. 1 Like |

Dogalmighty17:And you think these politicians can't easily get millions of the new naira notes if they want to? They even have easier access to these new notes than you the masses. You think Tinubu or state governors don't own some bank managers? You think they can't put a simple call to a bank manager to provide millions of the new notes at their homes while you suffer on the queue for days only to withdraw just 5k? If so called common celebrities could access millions of these new notes to spray at parties like we've seen, what makes you think someone like a state governors who deposit billions of naira of their state money in such banks wouldn't easily access it more? Or you think someone like Tinubu or Atiku can't put a call to his governor boys to provide the money? Truth is, most Nigerians are too stupid and gullible to believe this foolish policy will end vote buying. It will rather worsen it because these same politicians who easily have access to these new notes will now be able to easily sell these monies for the votes of impoverished masses who do not have easy access to the money |

Dogalmighty17:the thing is that after the election 500, 1000 would be open till all notes run out of circulation But which citizen would get mind to accept 500, 1000 old notes from politician when they don't have liver? This move is purely for the election, and it is only targeted at tinubu, and specially designed to stop tinubu up north because that is where he would be buying 90% of his wishful votes 1 Like |

Dogalmighty17:Sanwolu is busy talking tough in Lagos whereas under his nose , high court has been rejecting the old note , registrar in Lagos still rejects same old note. Lagos state governor is only interested in tricking people to accept stolen old notes they intend to use to buy vote and leave the people in the cold with the old notes when the election is over |
