jihday: First of all youth football β½ is essentially development football with players going through multiple ups and downs in their progression. There is NOTHING like a best player in youth football β½,it's highly inconsistent to make clear cut deductions Jerome Sinclair was the youngest player to play for Liverpool at 16. Before he was 18 , we had writing him off, he's been a journey man be since he left the academy and is almost finished at 25. Actually this is very common phenomenon, some players dominate until they get to 18 other players catch up and over take and he drops to the bottom of the group. I know players bought for Β£1 Millon pounds at 15 /16 released at 18 , sometimes earlier this is actually quite common occurrence. Best is never ever in an β½ football β½ a static deduction, best is a variable that changes with time, club, league, manager, team mates, etc , etc, that's why the definition of world π class is anchored on consistency, which is over time. This year's top striker can be next seasons flop, football is harsh and unforgiving. Dusan Vhlovic was at the top of Seria A, for two consecutive seasons now he is way below by comparison. And that is senior first team footballer not a youth footballer. It's obviously obvious you have no IDEA WHAT HAPPENS, stick to armchair analysis and medtua reports. 2 Likes 1 Share |

charlesemeka85: Bruv don't know how he has done ππΏ it but he has. He has been a journey man footballer going nowhere fast since he left Arsenal Academy with so much promise. Gets to Middlesbrough after two seasons of anonymousness he has Blown π₯π€―π£π. Can he step up to the EPL and cut it , score goals yes but outstanding I really don't know. But as it stands in the HERE and NOW he is better than KC. 3 Likes |

Hanibal: Without context Data is very limited in making inferences on quality and capacity. The KPI's you have presented are academic noise making without context. 1.work rate 2. Skill set 3. Pace 4. Technical ability 5. Physicality The measurements of all 5 KPI's will be seen in the context of the league you are playing. So a footballer with high stats in all of those KPI's in say the Turkish league may not get off the starting line in the EPL. And in this regards only someone with the most outstanding KPI's in the Turkish league may be considered average on arrival in EPL, or even very poor. The requirements of each league is different as well as difficultly to complete task's. In a less physical league with a lower work rate (intensity with or without the ball, running and chasing) You may have a player with a statistics of 10km in a match but it could lazy running without conviction and or intent. Then you could have a player with a lesser figure of 7 km of extreme intensity and determination and winning MENTALITY. That intensity may not necessarily be captured in the statistics of interceptions and tackles, but that intensity will change the trajectory of the match , cause errors and limit the options of the opposing side. These variables will not be caught in your statistics. What it takes to win a header in the EPL is not the same as it is in the French league one. Different levels of physicality and pace. The difficulty of putting a through ball with much more intelligent, faster and physically stronger defenders , will not be the same in Bundisliga as it is in the EPL. Again in general, before somebody talks about Haaland. Consider Timo Werner and his perspective in comparison to the Bundisliga,it's faster tougher and more physical. So now let's get to context again in relation to Nwakali a big part of the discussion on statistics. The Segundo division is very poor quality below the first 5/6 teams. Having this in mind whatever the statistics you gather they have to be seen in the poor level of the league. None of you here, would consider the statistics of any player in NPFL team as a yardstick for quality. Why then would you consider the very poor quality Segundo division and in this case a team at the bottom relegation zone, Ponferradina which is near bankrupt. This is not a comedic attempt to cast aspersion but I truly believe and if it were possible I would place a bet with my small π·Β£Β£ that Bendel insurance will flog Ponferradina FC ,with all seriousness. All the KPI's have to be seen and measured in the context of the league and the individual player. This is something that statistics cannot capture. In this regards that's why a club will send a scout to make a personal appraisal all things seen in context. That context is the league the player will potentially come to and the ethos of the club as well. Finally, l watched Sheffield Wednesday FC beat a full strength Newcastle United a League One club ( with several Nigerian players) Do you think any Segundo team can beat a EPL team, that's too much actually a Championship team and which one βin my opinion Sheffield Wednesday would flog Ponferradina FC. For context consider no EPL U21 Academy team can beat a league one team. However, Wolves U21 were narrowly beaten 2-1 by Villa Real B ( effectively the youth team) I watched Wolves U21 get flogged up close and personal by Liverpool FC U21 5-0. Stats must be seen in CONTEXT not in emotive assumption.

charlesemeka85: Your CONSISTENT continuous and outstanding performances in your club and league are the basis for national team invitation. That is the only TEST required. You don't come to the SE to be tested you come to prove your ability that's ALREADY tested. Right now Ademola and Tella are the BEST forward wide men available to the SE right now END OF DISCUSSION no DEBATE. What's funny is that Southampton may get relegated and Burnley definitely Promoted. For one thing Tella will not return to the Championship and Burnley will sign him permanent. They really should have done it a lot earlier because for one there will be multiple clubs wanting to sign him in the EPL and Europe in general. When a player is performing he doesn't beg for club, club deh beg am. 1 Like |

komekn: Ah Komekn! My comment was simple... Bring data from your up close and personal assessment of players that can control the midfield better than Nwakali.... You did not provide any! Wiki screenshots all over the place... Again! While I'm still struggling to see the relevance of league comparisons to the above question, I must remind you that: 1. The speed of light is the same anywhere on the Earth's surface 2. The speed of sound too is the same anywhere on earth's surface 3. Gravity is also a constant in most places at sea level. Which implies that a 100m sprint at a speed of 5m/s in the Turkish league is the same as a 100m sprint at a speed of 5m/s in the premier league, these are empirical stats that are the same anywhere in the world, I don't understand where "context" comes into empirical discussions on the same physical plane. Finally I will not be tempted to respond to other things you brought up, I do not see their relevance to our line of discussion . Please do not derail this discuss, as the demand is a very simple one :You mentioned Nigerian names, names of Nigerian players in league 1 and 2 who you believe can control the midfield better than Nwakali, because you've watched them *up close and personal* I then asked you humbly to give us empirical evidence from your up close and personal assessment notebook ( not Wikipedia screenshots) . I believe when you go watch players, you write somethings down... Show us those things. Abi your employers just take your word for it? No data ,no stats, no PowerPoint presentations... If Komekn says the player is good then he's good, if he says the player is a waste man then he's a waste man and that's that! Is that how things work in your professional world? 6 Likes |

Marjoribanks: This is a funny list... USA that has the best women national team in the world has only one team on that list.. meanwhile, majority of their players play in the US.... By your logic, Mexico has a better league than USA and therefore, a better national team, right? The Mexico team we faced were very average..Easily beatable.. The team has regressed under Randy... Currently on our worst FIFA rank in history! The man isn't just tactically poor, his player selection sucks... Imagine Ekong playng in midfield for the super eagles....that's what he did yesterday with Plumptree... 6 Likes |

Ademola is a winger with different expectations from the club. But he played 36 games the same number of games as KC but scored 6 goale and KC scored 4.
