I love how South Africa did not shamelessly participate in the recently concluded US-Africa summit. Since Nigeria refuse to act like a giant with sense, south Africa perhaps should take the lead.
seunny4lif:
SA foreign min told her USA counterpart, SA will do what is best for SA not what USA think is best for SA.
pansophist:
Yes, Ramaphosa told them to fork off, a huge blow to the US ego. SA is the torchbearer of economic development and prosperity in Africa, hence, it must align with the emerging world, and hope to bring others in the continent on board. Nigeria is a western puppet. It still belongs to the British. Know this and know peace.

The governor is not normal. He should go and face Buhari.

If I collect old money, where will I spend it.

This is what you get when you elect someone with a complicated Bachelor degree of Accounting in Business Administration as governor

Emefiele lied to Nigerians resulting to shooting himself on the foot
If you like sit with him . The guy is not a wise governor. We all know his orders would never stand. Let him start his gospel from his filling station Hyden Petroleum. Do they collect old note? He is just playing to the gallery as usual.

Hmmm

Tinubu quickly walking in the same history path as Abiola.

See the kind of damage and insurrection he’s causing as a candidate begging for votes, now imagine what he would do with presidential powers.

This was the exact line that Abiola toed that made the cabal not trust him with power.

Obasanjo was right after all, that only Peter Obi is the one that can be trusted with power and corrected if he starts to veer off the line while in power.

Tinubu will never be president. The little chance he had has been diminished to zero.

He's already there,

With this level of desperation, Nigerians would rather have a military coup than have a Tinubu presidency.
Shut d f up . Are you mad? What is the obsession with Tinubu? Do you know how people are suffering with this new note of a thing. Must everything be politics to you people.

CBN VERSUS POLITICIANS

If you think the politicians asking you to go on rampage over the scarcity of new notes care for you, then you are plain stupíd

For 9 months, students stayed at home last year, where were these politicians?

We have had intermittent fuel scarcity and petrol and diesel prices went very high since last year till date, where were these politicians?

We had floods that ravaged millions of homes and rendered many families without a means of livelihood last year in many states while the government watched, where were these politicians?

We had incessant security issues across Nigeria. Families were kidnapped and kept in criminal cells across Nigeria for months, where were these politicians?

Dollar rate to naira went up tremendously and almost every food items, electronics etc went double the prices in 2022, where were these politicians?

Cement, which is locally produced and even construction rods, with the raw materials in abundance in Nigeria, are now twice their rates as compared to early 2020, where were these politicians?

We matched to end police brutality in 2020 and many innocent protesters got shot, killed and their bodies taken and hidden by the military, where were these politicians?

Now, because CBN implemented a policy that will not allow them use the old piles of naira notes they stocked up in vaults in the houses to buy votes and bring in their inefficient candidates, they are suddenly patriots and champions of the People's rights. They are suddenly bothered by the sufferings of the ordinary people....?

The same politicians that hid paliatives during the 2020 lockdown cannot possibly care for you.

No let anybody deceive you. We know the situation is rough now with the paucity of cash flow but please understand that it is better to suffer for two weeks and enjoy for 8 years than to allow these greedy power drunk individuals deceive us into having their way in this election.

Your mumu supposed don do

I want power to return to the South but this actions and declarations by Tinubu supporting governors will jeopardize his little chance. This is not good at all. This can lead to acrimony and violence. Unless if the governor can provide a bank where money will be deposited by the commercial outlets, no one will accept it.

More reasons to vote APC out.

Never has nigeria had it so bad! A state governor coming out to openly defy a presidential directive!

Is this not treasonable?

I’m so in love with these governors.

This is how to flex your balls and this is how true federalism should work.

The Supreme Court is the highest court in the land and the law is above even the president.

I expect more states to employ this kind of stance and let’s see how Buhari can arrest all governors. Lagos should follow ASAP and flex the power of the state government.

Elewiele already said Bank should start accepting #500 & #1000, but we no even care. We wan dey spend our old notes dey go.
lolz,I really pity you guys.Buhari has been disobeying court orders and non of you complain you rather praise him.Why are you urchins calling buhari name up and down?I thought he's the best president in the whole world.Dont worry, you will soon cry blood.

Majority of Nigerians don't want him. Those with him are there for their own personal interest. They can no longer bear the embarrassment. His incompetence is too glaring.

Thieffnubu is not fit to rule and will definitely lose this election.

Guy, stop being myopic. Tinubu is not the one causing this problems but he is rather being targeted. I am not a supporter of Tinubu but I look beyond emotions in my reasoning.
