It's a lie that the Yorubas enjoyed any special privilege in 1999.
Alex Ekweme keenly contested the PDP primaries with Obasanjo and would have defeated him if not for the backing of the North and the ex-military Generals.

Ogbonaya Onu also of Igbo tribe contested the presidential election under APP.

If the APP had worked with Falae's AD ( the candidate of the Yoruba) Falae could have won the election.

So basically, it's LIE that others stepped down for the Yoruba to compensate them for June 12.

Lagos state belongs to Nigerians and every citizen of Nigeria has the right to live in Lagos irrespective of tribe! And that's why even Tinubu who is NOT from Lagos can can live there! I know you're not literate enough to know this grin

You're not stating the obvious fact that we all know- The average Yoruba will vote for Osinbajo because he appears relatively younger than Tinubu, and Yoruba.

I don't even see what Osinbajo will do differently that he hasn't advised his principal to venture in through the past 8yrs.
Are you going to say he isn't a part of this Govt or were his hands clipped?

If you had followed this administration closely like I did, you would have noticed that Osinbajo made some positive impacts the few moments Buhari transmitted power to him.

Just like the deputy governor, the office of the Vice President of Nigeria is useless, if the president is active. That's why many people don't even know the names of their deputy governors.

That said, drop this debate because this man is not in this race. Saturday is just a few days away; that should be the concern of every Nigerian now.

Dont tell me that "skit" with the DSS package...that is irrelevant. I just want to know, what makes him a better candidate than Peter Obi. ....and why the issue of equity will not suffice in this regard.

Whatever transpired during June 12 gave birth to Obasanjo a Yoruba man...whether you like him or Not is not the issue. The North would have continued ruling via any means if they wanted to and NOTHING WOULD HAVE HAPPENED.

Nigerians Voted Overwhelmingly for MKO..likewise Obasanjo....so the issue of TRIBAL voting as you stated is defeated.

So please answer me well and constructively...why must the SW be on the ballot in the first place when its ethical to allow the SE have its turn at the Presidency.

Devil wan tempt me this week. I have a contract job to deliver for a client in Lagos starting Wednesday but I'm not sure I can finish on Friday to come back East to vote on Saturday. Profit is not less than 200k but I can't because of 200k and disenfranchise myself.

I do not understand what you mean by not allowing any Igbo people to rule. I do not know of anytime any person was denied the right to contest the presidential election because he/she is of Igbo extraction? Even Late Ikemba contested elections.
Perhaps you are expecting every other persons to step down and unanimously adopt Igbo candidates in their parties. This, my brother, will require some high level negotiations, maneouvering, lots of give and take and not through Nzogbu Nzogbu brand of politics ( apologies to Gov Soludo)

My opinion is that Igbo invested heavily in PDP ( instead of APGA), it's therefore shocking that they allowed someone else robbed them of that party's ticket. It will be hypocritical to expect those that laboured and built APC to such status easily ' gift ' their ticket to someone from a region that has shown disdain to the party.

Finally, Obasanjo contested the PDP primaries and the elections proper, he was not dashed the power. Ditto for Osinbajo.

I wish gbo will build APGA into a big brand and a negotiations platform, just like Yorubas build ACN.
