It would be unfair not sharing my experience here, I learnt all I did on here.

My experience at Alimosho center on 14/02/2023. I got there quarter to 10, I met a guy at the gate who asked for my purpose and i inquired to know his business with what I came to to do..

Got into the hall met one Officer 👮‍♀️ Tunde who also asked for my purpose which I narrated to him, he then requested for 3500 to open a file as per DIY and another 5500 to push it in. I was like fun ki ni (For what) He then said I should call anybody I know that is the modus operandi. I ignored him went to meet another Officer Adeyemo and told him my purpose as per DIY, he pointed at an officer BELLO at servicecom (Seated at one corner). I told him I have an appointment to.. before I could land he requested for my documents, vetted the documents and asked me to write an application which I did, he then asked me to seat.

After about 10minutes I went to meet him he told me he’s about taking my file inside. The officer BELLO was extremely polite and professional.

I waited for about 30 minutes before I was called for capturing. After capturing I was given a paper with my name and sum numbers.

Before leaving the hall I tracked my application, passport production in progress.

I didn’t spend a dime till I left about 12noon.

Strictly DIY via Immigration Website.

Good day bro…mine was DIY.just check online now to track my application it was telling me NIN verification failed I have not even done any biometric coz my biometric it’s suppose to comes up at Abeokuta this month..waht might cause the issue of NIN verification failed because this has been the NIN have been using in my banks and line registration

Was at the alausa office today for capturing, but was told it can't be processed because I didn't include my middle name in the application as it is on all my other identication documents. Is there anyway I could include it or I'll have to forfeit and start afresh?

I would suggest you DM National Identity Management Commission (NIMC). Quote your National Identification Number (NIN) in the message and implore NIMC to confirm to you that your NIN is active and in the National Verification Service portal.

I did my capturing since dec/5/22 and i hve been speaking with the person helping me to process it at Festac.

She keeps saying it is unavailable yet.Lo and behold this February i had to put in more pressure and she is telling me that my file can’t be found.Please what do i do from here

Collection date on my slip was 21 January. My passport was printed 20 January.

Sagamu is actually friendly for DIY. I only pay 3k.

My kids did capturing Dec 11, and we were give Feb 6 as collection date. Can we go buy this date. Also it's my brother that will help collect it, any ideas of what we need to bring along.
