They’ve been unlucky plus DDG is a beast. They created great chances.

Garncho and Rashford offer no defensive press. They're useless without the ball. Weghorst is not a midfielder and just bouncing around but he offers something without the ball. Our midfield is not good enough to have 2+ players useless without the ball. Hopefully we manage to take our chances while keeping it tighter at the back

He should be able to discern when to give those passes and when not to. An inaccurate one time pass is not better than an accurate non-one-time pass.

That one-time pass play is his MO. He usually loses possession if he tries to retain possession or move around with the ball like a proper 10. He makes up for this weakness by having a good press when he’s off the ball. However that weakness makes him kinda inefficient as a proper ball playing possession midfielder. It’s a dicey situation for United cuz we need his assists and press as much as we need a proper 10 that can retain possession and influence midfield play altogether
