Nigeria Records 2,445 Preventable Deaths Daily – Report by ogododo: 7:34am On Feb 20, 2023
At least 2,445 women and children die every day from preventable causes in Nigeria, according to data from the Federal Ministry of Health on the National Maternal and Child Health.

The data obtained by our correspondent revealed that 70 per cent of the deaths are preventable.

According to the data, “145 women die every day due to preventable pregnancy-related causes in Nigeria.

“2,300 children under five years of age die every day from preventable causes in Nigeria.

“As much as 70 per cent of the causes of these deaths are preventable.”

Going by this figure, about 892,425 women and children under the age of five die every year from preventable causes in Nigeria.
Sadauki, told our correspondent that there was a need for increased awareness in the communities to reduce maternal deaths in the country.

He said, “The health-seeking behaviour of our mothers needs to be changed. Also, we need fully-equipped and fully-staffed health facilities with appropriate technology.

“There should be consumables available and affordable to manage complications during delivery.”

Speaking at the Northern Traditional Leaders’ Committee on Primary Health Care Development Delivery Review Meeting in Abuja, the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, said that Nigeria had not fared well in maternal and child health care.

He said, “The poor health indices for which Nigeria has not fared comfortably are the maternal and child mortality and morbidity, they are not very good, but these are generated largely in the rural areas where there is no access to any form of health care, and we need to do more to get the incoming administration not to deviate and philanthropists to continue to invest in primary health care.

“We have promises of funding from the Global Fund to support primary health care development.”

But I noticed something now

That surgical operation methods of putting to bed by women don increase compared to the old methods of child expulsion

Una dey think wetin I dey think

He be like say all these hospital and doctors dey induced women with drugs to make sure that this women becomes weak from the beginning so that at the time of labour they will have no choice than give in for surgical operation

Poor or totally absent emergency services, illiteracy, corruption etc are amongst the aggravating factors.

So, who is death meant for?!! Cos your Bible likened death to sleep!

Every apostle of Christ DIED premature and violent deaths!

So, why do you castigate death like it wasn't sanctioned by your Creator?!!

Imagine if OBI becomes president, he will start killing youth and dispose of u in the same manner like Igbo youth killed in their hundreds in EZU river .

Avoid being one of the preventable death due to police brutality such as in Anambra.

That number seems high.... But it's possible.
Imagine how many death Nigeria police caused a day
How many people got my car because no pedestrian bridge or they refuse to use it.
How many people die because of lackadaisical attitude of Nigeria nurse and health workers.
how many people are killed by robbers because Nigeria police no get tome to protect anyone.
How many people die from contaminated pure water because Nafdac no dey go back to test .
Now imagine how many people we've killed because unnecessarily..... I heard angry mob burnt a POS operator in Ibadan.... How barbaric?

Exactly my point

This wasn't the case before bro

Women use to give birth through the normal expulsion

But now surgical operation is now rampant
