Bosso team has never been convincing ,I don’t know y ppu have so much faith in dis present team
He’s no different from Paul aigbogun ;no clue

Siasia, Keshi, Amuneke and Manu Garba are few out of many local coaches that have managed our national teams and produced some good results plus talented players.. Although they had fheir fair share of controversy... The rest are just there, and the NFF keep recycling them....

The number 4 jersey from this current U20 , Daga , reminds me of Onyekachi Okonkwo of the history making Enyimba FC. Very agile ,athletic...a bit like Kingley Michael. I have my eyes on him.

My take: like typical Nigerian home based players, a lot of power no tact. They press and push all day but cant convert a simple chance. Our football development is very faulty

He's been talked about but could he be the anointed one to end our midfield woes?

This Beyond Limit academy is good.

I took my son there for trials. The facility there is world class and they scout for good players from different parts of the country.

My son surprised me in the first 2 a side trail. He destroyed all the players on his way with his skills. Even the players called him "e le yi bad goon" meaning this one too good. That was the first time I saw him played and realized why he wrote footballer as his occupation in his secondary school form although me I changed am ooo. grin

Anyway, after that was the 5 a side. He wasn't that bad though being his first time on the field with trained players. Na there I realized talent is not enough but understanding of the game.

He was better than most of the players in 2 a side but when those boys (including 2 girls) started playing 5 a side, they were so good with positioning, transitioning and passing. In fact, they understood the game better than my son.

Immediately after the game, the coach told me he has potential but not up to the standard of gaining admission into the academy. So, he encouraged him to keep training where he is coming from but when I told him I don't allow him to go out not to talk of training, he was shocked.

He said, "are you sure he never trained anywhere before now?" I said yes. He said "with what I saw that means he will be a good player if he trains more" then he advised me to bring him again for trial.

At the next trail, he said bring him everyday, he's got the talent to be a great player but unfortunately he must finish school before football. That's how it ended.

There is one 10 years old boy from Abuja. He trains with the under 15 and 17. This boy is too good. He is the best player among the u10 and u15.

That club knows how to get good players. There are more far better players in the academy than this one in Millan now, and they are still recruiting good ones everyday without collecting a dim.

In fact, they give them free food and free accommodation. You heard me. Everything na free there as long as you've got the talent. Gbam.

This is amazing!

The club definitely know how to do things professionally.. in the long run, the money made from players transfer and sell on bonuses would cover for all expenses!

Typical laLadan Bosso team. Play only one way. No plan B. As soon as Daga got substituted, the midfield collapsed. We should be alright against Egypt and Mozambique.

Is there no education plan with the training...why can you change his school to a near by school close to remo where he can visit the facility everyday while schoooling. Please don't kill the talent.

They will definitely make their money back. In fact, 5 of their players are in Portugal with Soname's club and other different clubs. Imagine if them blow, Soname go make money.

The club has world class facilities. Their hostel bi like hotel. Standard. Gym, Olympic size swimming pool, health care center (them give my son free massage therapy because of muscle pain), restaurant, 3 training pitches etc. Master class.

Unlike some academy that collect money before you do trail.

Nice one. The truth is now is the best time for your son to learn the basics if he really wants to pursue a career in football. Delay could mean he will be playing catch up to his peers.

Goodluck to your boy if he decides to go down that path.

Continue to guide and advise him very well.

May God reward and bless your efforts.

I think so too. That's why I am thinking of getting a club closer to me or look for school nearby. After election, I will see what happens. Although I prefer the place ooo.

Nice one baba,if your boy is extremely talented then he should face his education and get local academy for him in your area....Emma Olisadebe was a university student doing what professional footballer cannot do.If he had his Dad support he would have been a Nigeria great but it took coach Amusa Adisa to tell him forget your Dad and face football.I remember world university games changed Emma story.

Truly, not easy combining education with football.Jonathan Akpoborie and Emma Emenalo left football, went to US universities and returned to football but only few can do this successfully......Sincerely the ball is in your court to let your boy achieve his dreams and don’t be surprised if your boy goes against you if you insists on education first...Taiwo Awoniyi used his Jamb fees to travel and had successful trial with academy, but later had the university degree his father wanted him to have....Sir,just guide your son to achieve his dreams.

Just show him videos of Socrates, tell him Socrates was a medical doctor while playing in multiple WCs. Adokie Amasemaka was a law student while playing for Nigeria, he even became AG of his state, mathematical Segun finished from the polytechnic, Felix Owolabi has a PhD, Bonucci has a masters, Olofinjana has a masters etc. Long story short, he should try to do both. Infact you can use carrot and stick, with football has the carrot to be enjoyed but the condition is, he must perform well in school. Good luck Baba Oloye!!!

Its a common thing in our Nigerian groomed players, all puffs and no push. Its says a lot about our grassroots development programs. We never have that finishing touches with our home groomed players. The could dominated and out-muscle their opponents but when it comes to that finishing touches we never have. Something is certainly wrong with the way we teach this boys. Everything is not gragra....they lack the calmness in the final third to win games.

By the way , Ladan Bosso has given his best. Lets try some younger and modern tactician biko

Good advice. In the 80s and 90s it was easy combining education with football cos Nigeria has a blueprint and then football was not really professional, clubs used NUGA games as scouting field for players.

Well, I wanted to be sure if he really got the talent to execell before he embarks on this journey but now I know, I am seeking God's guidance.

I am also aware that he could go against me since I be em father na. grin Omo ti ekun ba ekun ni jo. grin

That was another reason I jejelly took him to the academy before it gets to that stage.

So, for now, he understands I am supporting him but on condition he must finish schooling.

Make election finish before I see wetin go happen.
