And the funny thing about my regret message on this application, that graduate coordinator is very mean. Of all the day to sent such, he decided to send it on February 14th being an important day all over the world. it shows she/he has no single joy at all😂😂😁 1 Like |

heavenisreal18:Google universities in Canada and ask them. Most universities have their tuition and board for intl students on their website. Also you can explore US schools which dont require you to pay money $$ upfront.. only proof of funds is needed to getbadmission. Good luck! |

Retrovibes1: Just find someone they denied recently and they can snap and send to you. It doesn't carry any personal info. |

You can submit your application without the statement of account, don't waste time on it Najdorf: |

Please don't wait for app fee waiver at this time, if you can afford the app fee and you are sure you have a good profile, go ahead pay the app fee and submit Gokoyer0: 1 Like |

Lol, people apply to as many schools as possible, some 12, some 7 and some people apply to only one school at times. It all depends on you. I know someone who started their application in September and they got a lot of app fee waivers thereby he submitted 12applications to different schools and paid for 4 out of the 12. Zihno: |

@Sisib15, I hope I have not shot myself in the leg anyway. I just submitted the application straight away. I even emailed the departmental coordinator last week and she said they are reviewing all my application documents because she had passed them to the reviewing committee. I really hope she has not intentionally done me strong thing. DAramis: |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by Sisib15: 6:26am On Feb 21, 2023 |
I don't think so. If your application is showing ''under review'' that means it has been sent to the department but if your application is showing '' pending app fee'' that means they have not done anything on it. Just put your mind at rest and if you have the means you can still do one more school. Gokoyer0: 1 Like |

Good day all. I want to understand something as regards these rejections flying around. Is it possible for one to be refused admission for aresearch-based MSc or PhD despite securing a supervisor? I'll soon begin sending emails to lecturers in my target schools for fall 2024 admission, but these love letter updates here is getting me worried. PS: shout out to everyone who's received one recently.. one love |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by Anfieldboss: 12:31pm On Feb 21, 2023 |
Hayomide19: It's possible to be rejected even after securing a supervisor, I have seen a few cases.... but it's very unlikely. The reason is that admission to US universities is arrived at by a departmental committee. So there is a possibility that a professor might accept someone, and the committee rejects the person, but like I said it's quite unlikely. 2 Likes |

Hayomide19: I would advise against this. Professors are busy this period and the chances of ignoring your email is very high. Try around August/September. 2 Likes |

Very possible. Had such a experience in the past where a PI interviewed me and told me he will accept me only for me to get a love letter after three weeks. I emailed him later and he didn't reply me again. The truth is that Admission Committee has the final say except if the PI will fund your research and not the department. Hayomide19: 1 Like |

Good evening, please i want to ask about HCC VISA APPROVAL RATE Houston Community College. Has anybody heard of the school? Your inputs will be appreciated. |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by chibertha(f): 8:16pm On Feb 21, 2023 |
I know the school its on Main Street in Harris County Houston. Well going to the embassy with a community collage especially if you are a matured applicant reduces your chances of been approved. If I may ask what is your profile like? Winner0718: 1 Like |

chibertha: Thank you for your response. I am a Computer Science grad. With 3.26 WES CA evaluation i want to enroll for a IT Networking Technology. My Aunt told me about the school. Do you think i got another better option before i proceed with the school? The tuition is cheap though more of the reason i had stick to it. |

Winner0718:It seems like you’re hustling backward.?? Why not apply to a uni for MS? Just see it this way, since you graduated from a uni/poly in Naija would u go back to a poly to get an ND certificate? Is OND more marketable than BS in Naija? Community colleges award associate degree in the US. So you would VO to give u visa for AS study in the US in this japa-frenzy environment?? 3 Likes |

I'm trying to prepare ahead while waiting on responses from schools. Would be glad if anyone can help with these. How many months bank statement is used for the US student visa? If the planned money is currently in both my account and my Husband's pounds account, who do I write as sponsor and do I need to show both for I20 and visa? I'm the student, will.my husband be given F2 visa if his employer in nigeria is allowing him work remotely and he's also running his Dad's company by the side as home ties. I'll be adding my own home ties. Just concerned about his, since we want to travel together |

That is like doing OND after degree it doesn't show progression. I would go to a university for masters instead you will still learn what you want there. Winner0718: 2 Likes |

Drop this good or bad university thing if you want come here. Any uni that can issue I-20 take it and move. When you get there you will always get jobs in the state you schooled if you feel you don't have chances anywhere else. Winner0718: 2 Likes |
