Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR, Governor of Anambra State, has promised to build more roads in Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Council, after residents pleaded with him to do more.

He made the promise while inspecting the 2.2km Ezi Adimorah-Nanka-Isuofia Road, which is being overseen by AG Vision Construction Company.

While expressing satisfaction with the thickness of asphalt layers already applied on the road, which has stone base cement stabilization, Governor Soludo reminded the people that previous governments had made false promises about constructing the road and failed, but he took office under the APGA platform and was determined to fix the road in the community.

"We just returned from a 26-kilometer road inspection from Amansea to Ndiukwenu to Awa to Ufuma, and it will be finished soon. Awka will be easily accessible from Orumba North, Orumba South, and Umunze.

"All of the communities we visited still have a list of roads that need to be built.

"From Isuofia to Akwudo road, I'm aware of that particular road and I'm aware it needs intervention. The roads we shall build are still much but don't be weary, we are constructing roads in phases," Soludo said.

He assured Ndi Orumba that development is on the way!

The Governor reminded them that while they are calling for more roads to be built, APGA Government is responsible for all road development in the state.

He pleaded with the people to vote for APGA candidates so that he could form a team to realize his vision for a smart megacity.

Earlier, in welcoming the Governor for the second time to Orumba, The TC Chairman Orumba North Hon. Ogochukwu Ekwueme stated that the people are pleased with the Governor and assured him of their unwavering support.

Arc. Okey Ezeobi, Managing Director, Anambra State Procurement, promised the Governor that he would not let him down and revealed that the Governor has never intervened in any procurement process, describing it as very healthy and competitive. He informed the Governor that there are more important roads to construct in Nanka.

Sir Eric Kanayo Eze, APGA Candidate, Orumba North and South Federal Constituency and Hon. Emeka Aforka, APGA Candidate, Orumba North Constituency, Anambra State House of Assemby welcoming the Governor promised if they are voted, they would work with the Governor to bring more developmental projects to Nanka.

The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, Chief of Staff, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Commissioner for Works, Engr. Ifeanyi Okomma, State Chief of Protocol, Chinedu Nwoye Glamour, Executive Secretary JAAC, Dr. Leo Nwankwo Ikwueto amongst others attended the event.

Soludo should do better if possible contact umahi on how go build a good solid road..
No sidewalks, open drainages. Omoh, even the most educated ones will always engage in mediocrity
