You can go to the court and tell them this story and Ekweremadu will be exonerated immediately. Don't waste your talent on nairaland.

Thanks for exposing that lier. That guy knew from the beginning why he was going to UK and I believe the test was conducted in Nigeria to determine if he's eligible to donate the kidney and he agreed to that, but wanted to play fast one on Ekweremmadu because he had landed in UK, that guy is a complete rogue,, he's just exploiting UK laws on Ekweremmadu, banza ole

You will have to be an Igbo and possibly voting Peter Peter Obi to exhibit this level of foolishness

LagosInter:
I condemn our politicians for not building good hospitals here.

But this boy is a liar.

He knew what he was going to do.

And there is nothing wrong in agreeing to donate a kidney in expectation of support.

Yes, paying for kidney is illegal but the difference between paying for it and supporting the donor is in semantics.

I can give the donor a house, car, money etc afterwards and call it support and not payment.

People can do anything for money provided it's consensual.

Many Ebonyi people are like that. Very unreliable.

The boy played a fast one on Ekweremmadu the same way Ekweremmadu planned to play a fast one on him. Ekweremmadu, just like every other politician, is evil and therefore deserves more than what he is currently passing through.

It's a case of a little boy outsmarting a corrupt politician in his game. No body has monopoly of wickedness

Let the UK court jail Ekweremadu for like 80yrs.

Lets call a spade a spade and no tribal sentiment, like most people will do.

Ike Ekweremadu is a terrible and bad leader that has led his constituent for almost 2 decades and yet nothing to show for it, not even a good or standard hospital.

Apart from Peter Obi, do you think if another politician from the South East came out, that the Igbos would have supported him?

Lets leave sentiment, Igbos would have been divided into 2 if Yemi Osinbajo came out, not Tinubu.

Calabar boy trying to outsmart his benefactors.
He saw UK and decided Nigeria wasn't for him. He was tired of riding okada.

Ekweremadu should have easily given his kidney or his wife's own to avoid this embarrassment.

It's terrible how people think just because they hate the senator or he's tribe then he's guilty. These are the kind of people supporting bad leaders and love criminally minded people. The boy is just a normal guy man or maybe street wise guy. He should just come out plain to say he won Japa. I blame the senator for trusting the guy. He did not know most youths are guy men. He could have signed a document and possibly have a photo of the boy's family in agreement to the organ transplant. It's quite unfortunate. All I see in this case is just hate. Funny people.

Agreed, both are mischievous people. But the boy could have asked for possible to be settled in UK as a requirement for kidney donation. If given money, it can finish soonest. Maybe, he was not properly advised. Anyways, they all know what they are doing. It's a lesson.

If only we had world class kidney centres etc all over Nigeria which are equipped by our Politicians, this big 'mbarrassment wouldn't have happened.

Imagine this small boy obviously guided by some adults and Google( lol) messing up a die hard, cunny Politician.

But I don't envy this man( now).,.. Guy man thinks he can outsmart others possibly even the UK law... Fine, he may succeed but what about Karma( physical or otherwise even upon his own children as others may not show mercy to them when needed and timely), taking advantage of someone's PAIN... Only God is presently keeping Mr ( Politician) Ek's daughter alive now with no parental moral, psychological, emotional or financial support.

If God wan punish Mr. Ek, not through me....The guy would have just returned with his already stamped passport( at worst ask for some token payment after all deal no click again) which he can later easily use again to enter UK later on... But as a poor minded person( not only coming from poor home), he felt he may never have this opportunity again( indirectly limiting his God due to lack of foresight).,..

Everywhere on internet will have this record of him whether or not he wins the case... I do not like this level of popularity abi na notorioriety.

UK: a country where the systems and institutions are bigger than any individual.

Ekweremadu’s case would have long died if it were to be in Nigeria.

The Police and DSS would have incarcerated that boy.
Though not a Nigerian, am a bit hesitant believing the young man’s version of events. He explained when the case was new, that someone had introduced him to the family & they organized the processing of his travel documents. He’s not a child. Among all the people in Nigeria, why was he picked? They must have had a deal, but someone advised the guy to act dumb & cry crocodile tears, in order to gain the UK government sympathy and be granted asylum. If indeed this family is guilty, then I’d say their cup is full. Let them pay for the evil committed .If the young guy is lying against them, I pray that in due to time, he’ll get to deal with the consequences of his actions.

Ekweremmadu's choice for such a poor boy is because he knew that the boy is vulnerable and therefore wouldn't be able to seek for a proper legal and medical advice before accepting whatever peanut offer he presented to him. He was convinced that on mention of traveling abroad alone, that the poor boy will jump on his offer without 2nd thought.

Nigeria politicians are evil, I have no pity for them
