IF APC GOT TORN INTO THREE SHREDS, AS A RESULT OF FALLOUTS IN THE PARTY. LETS ASSUME, OSIBANJO BROKE AWAY AND HE IS ABLE TO BUILD ON RELIGIOUS SENTIMENTS, WINNING CHRISTIANS TO HIS SIDE. RUNNING ON A DIFFERENT POLITICAL PLATFORM OTHER THAN APC. AND THEN, WE HAVE ANOTHER FALLOUT IN NORTH BY THE NAME ZULUM. ALSO PERSISTENT AND COMMITTED TO WIN. CONTROLLING A PERCENTAGE IN THE NORTH. WOULD TINUBU STAND A CHANCE OF WINNING IF PDP REMAINS INTACT AS A WHOLE PARTY, WITH PETER OBI AND KWANKWASO NOT FALLING OUT OF THE PARTY BUT WORKING ACTIVELY FOR PDP'S VICTORY BECAUSE THEY BELONG TO PDP? WHAT IT MEANS IS THAT, WHATEVER VOTE TINUBU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN HAVE BEEN DIVIDED BY OSIBANJO AND ZULUM WHILE PDP GET THEIR VOTES IN FULL. IT IS NOT DIVIDED BY OBI AND KWANKWASO. 2 Likes |

The faulty assumption you're making is that all the 12m voters in the North who normally vote buhari are APC members. It is instructive for you to note that while buhari left ANPP who had 7 govs as at the time he left, he was able to pull 12m votes with a party with little or no political structure. So it's not just about the political bigwigs. It's about what drives people in making political choices. For example, can you confidently say Atiku will not perform better in the North than he did in 2019 due to the split in pdp? |
Re: ..... by Softmirror: 12:07pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
Kukutenla: IT IS TOO OBVIOUS THAT HE WON'T PERFORM BETTER. IN 2019 THE PICTURES OF HIS RALLIES HAS ALOT OF RED CAPS, LOYALIST OF KWANKWASO. BUT TODAY?! IT'S SIMPLE COMMON SENSE ATIKU CANNOT DO BETTER. HE DOESN'T HAVE NORTHERN CHRISTIANS ON HIS SIDE EITHER. NEITHER ATIKU, OBI NOR KWANKWASO HAVE THE CHANCE OF BECOMING THE OVERALL WINNER. IT IS A DIVIDED HOUSE. 1 Like |

Softmirror:You actually expect the core Muslim North to leave Atiku a northerner and give over 70% across the 13 states that make up the core North to a southern candidate simply because he's APC? Are you sure you understand how Nigerian politics works or you're just a noise maker? Let me turn it round. Are you expecting Atiku to have above 42% of Sw votes like he did in 2019 as well? |

Buhari is not on the ballot. |
Re: ..... by Softmirror: 12:22pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
Kukutenla: THEY HAVE ALREADY. IN THEIR TALKS AND WALKS OPENLY SHOW THAT THEY ARE FOR TINUBU. THAT IS THE TRUTH. THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH. A LARGE NUMBER DON'T CARE, ALL THAT THEY CARE ABOUT IS WHATEVER BUHARI SAYS. AND SINCE HE HAS COME OUT TO SAY THEY SHOULD VOTE TINUBU. SPEAKING IN HAUSA LANGUAGE. SO SHALL THEY OBEY. IMAGINE BUHARI INSTRUCTING THE NORTH TO VOTE KWANKWASO. THAT WILL BE GAME OVER FOR TINUBU, ATIKU AND OBI. |
Re: ..... by Kukutenla: 12:32pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
Softmirror:It's still obvious you're not in tune with reality of politics in the North. See how you wrote it self: "So shall they obey" like they are cows who are guided with a stick. Yet najaatu Mohamed a core buharist left APC. Yet so many defections from APC in Buhari's own state. Like I said, you're not politically grounded in northern politics if you think the people will just follow whatever buhari says blindly Even Sw don't follow Tinubu blindly yet you think Northeners are sub-humans who follow Buhari blindly |
Re: ..... by Kukutenla: 12:36pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
Softmirror: And yet Kwankwaso still commands a large following despite buhari not endorsing him. Your argument is flawed on that premise alone |
Re: ..... by Softmirror: 12:40pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
Kukutenla: UNLESS BUHARI SHOULD SAY, THE NORTH SHOULD VOTE PETER OBI. WILL THEY DISOBEY. INFACT IF OSIBANJO WERE TO BE THE APC CANDIDATE AND BUHARI SHOULD SAY THEY SHOULD VOTE HIM. THEY NORTH WILL VOTE OSINBAJO. THAT IS WHAT IT IS. 1 Like |

Re: ..... by Kukutenla: 12:43pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
Softmirror:Let me even ask What's the premise of this claim? Who has buhari ever endorsed apart from running himself that the North voted for? Same buhari who asked to be allowed to choose his successors and his northern govs including his state gov refused? |
Re: ..... by Softmirror: 12:44pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
Kukutenla: SO WHY WERE YOU ALL ABOUT HIM PICKING A CONSENSUS CANDIDATE DURING THE PRIMARIES?! YOU CAN SEE, HOW YOU SHOT YOURSELF IN THE FOOT WITH THE BOLDED. HAS THE SUPPORT BY THESE NORTHERN GOVERNORS DECLINED FOR TINUBU? 1 Like |

Softmirror: You mean in Kano, Kwankwaso will get 91k votes while Tinubu will get over 1 million votes? |
Re: ..... by Softmirror: 12:47pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
Kukutenla: HEAD OR TAIL. IT FAVOURS TINUBU THAN IT FAVOURS ATIKU OR PETER OBI. APC IS FIRM IN KANO. 1 Like |
Re: ..... by Kukutenla: 12:47pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
Softmirror:Who stopped him from picking a consensus candidate? Is it not the northern govs? If the northern govs disobeyed him at simple party primaries, what makes you think the average northerner is beholden to obeying him at the general elections? |

Re: ..... by Softmirror: 12:50pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
Kukutenla: DID BUHARI TELL YOU WHO HIS CONSENSUS CANDIDATE COULD HAVE BEEN. ASK YOURSELF WHY BUHARI IS IN LINE WITH THIS SAME NORTHERN GOVERNORS' CHOICE OF TINUBU. |
Re: ..... by Softmirror: 12:52pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
Kukutenla: IMAGINE GANDUJE IS NOT IN SUPPORT OF TINUBU. DO YOU THINK TINUBU STANDS A CHANCE IN KANO?! |

Stop saying Peter Obi or Kwakwasor are PDP people they are not. The fact that they were once in PDP doesn't mean they are with them. Stop being naive and presumptuous. If you want to go by this analogy, the Atiku will support apc because he was once in apc. To be clear, Atiku and Tinubu cannot win this election. Things have changed drastically, the political landscape is not like how it used to be. |
