I do not see future for Mejbri at United. He is talented but that position is loaded already, except he can play 10 which I hope.

Mainoo can be retooled as a 6 as well cos he is strong, press resistant, and has more discipline defensively compared to the others. Out of the 3 he has the most complete package (not necessarily the most talented). for a CM.

Iqbal’s best bet especially with the way ETH likes to play, is to be an 8. He is the most similar player we have to Eriksen or FDJ. He needs to become stronger and keep improving his line breaking passes. He needs that strength in order to improve his progressive runs.

Mejbri I think is an 8 as well because his best attributes are his powerful runs in midfield, good technique, good long range passing. He probably can be retooled as a 10 but is he better in that role compared to the ones ahead of him and the ones coming up behind?

He would start him if he was fully fit and back to form. Before Dalot's recurrent injury he was the preferred RB and it was so bad that AWB almost never played and Dalot was playing 90mins back to back to back. He started against Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City this season.

Based on the totality of this season, yes. Defending is more than just sliding all over the place like a champion skier. Additionally RBs are important in terms of the attacking aspect of the game as well. I prefer Dalot as a RB.

I don't see ETH benching Fred unless Sabitzer and Casemiro have been mad impressive in training. They have never played together so i would prefer to use the tried and tested partnership of Case and Fred.
