Tell me about it! Yet they do nothing about multiple banned monickers.

The management of this site surprises me all the time. So much potential but can't seem to use it. While Seun is busy punditing on Twitter it seems barebones structure he is managing.

Just imagine startups having 100million engaged users in two months while since 2007 I've known here, nothing much has changed except the script.

Well each one to what gives him comfort, right?

He lacks insight big time. With the resourceful people he has managed to bring together here this site should be as huge as FB and twitter, but it seems he doesn't know how to seek assistance.

About the banned monikers, Seun/mynd could simply use the same restrictions they use in the regular politics section i.e. When you newly register an account, that account won't be able to post until like a week or so.

Didn't know they had such restrictions, but I guess the popularity of this thread stops them implementing it here since it might reduce eyeballs. Same as why Fox would lie to keep its audience, I guess.

US President Joe Biden's administration has unveiled a plan that would make it harder for migrants to claim asylum once Covid border controls lift in May.

It would require adult asylum seekers to use an app to book a meeting with US officials or first claim asylum in another country before reaching the US.

Failure to comply would make migrants ineligible if they subsequently reach the border.

Human rights groups likened the plan to Trump-era policies.

Joe's position on migration, has never really been different from that of the average conservative American.

As Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis intensifies his preparation for a White House bid, several of the wealthiest and most prolific Republican donors are already giving him a major financial boost.

Trader and investor Jeffrey Yass donated $2.5 million to DeSantis' state political committee on February 7, according to online records maintained by the organization, Friends of Ron DeSantis. And Jude and Christopher Reyes, the billionaire brothers behind one of the country's largest beer and food distributors, each gave DeSantis' committee $1 million last week as well.

The seven-figure checks arrived ahead of what has amounted to a late-February soft launch of DeSantis' highly anticipated run for president. On Monday, DeSantis held campaign-style rallies with police officers in New York, Philadelphia and Chicago, where he regaled the crowds with stories of the culture wars.

Ahead of a potential GOP primary clash with Donald Trump, DeSantis will next host a three-day retreat for donors this weekend in Trump's neighborhood. And his memoir, "The Courage to Be Free," drops next Tuesday, with plans for a national book tour and events scheduled with GOP activists in Texas, California and Alabama.

And he is constant leaning to diatribes shows he ain't got the stuff of innovators. He was just the one who persevered when forums where popular, and he is sooo much ok with it.

I remembered when he was planning on making films and skits, back then nobody knew who someone like mr macaroni was. Anyway sha maybe he's very cool with his ad sales.

In the words of a wise man, if e easy, do am

Many sites have tried to expand and disappeared. Look at LindaIkeji

He once tried to use Nairaland to bootstrap a "Gumtree" or "Craigslist" of Nigeria, converting all adspace to advertise that site. It didn't work, so he stuck to what works

This site is the reddit of Nigeria, not FB or Twitter. Seuns formula works, and he treats the site as a cash cow, not a rising star.

I do admire his work especially since I haven't done what he's done, but that does not mean he should not use the resourceful people he's gathered here to help improve it with him.

Cash cows tend to stop producing cash at some point, just as cows stop producing milk or even meat eventually.

Marge Greene details her secession plan for Republican states in a thread, which she also says will ensure Wal-Marts will no longer place intimacy gadgets in prominent locations.

I’ve read this several times and I still don’t know wtf MTG is talking about. But then again, neither does she. Every time she opens her mouth, she reaffirms that she slept through sixth grade civics and seventh grade US government classes.
This dumbass and other dumbasses like her who talk about seceding still haven’t realized that the states would no longer be eligible for FEDERAL programs or money, neither would their citizens. This will NEVER happen.
Did they forget that the last time this happened, it led to a Civil War, a war that the states that seceded LOST?

Nigeria still has issues of female genital mutilation to this day and a practice of breast ironing still exists in a few parts.

But I guess transgender surgery is the bigger boogie man.

Add to that serious and massive issue of paedophilia (child rape and marriage). The amount of unreported child rape in Nigeria is alarming. LBTGQ and transgender suggest is the most least (pardon my English) of our problems.
