Agent he paid used a fake bank statement for him for Canada study permit application. He got ban.

He wants to apply for a Bsc program to UK. He is 28yrs old. Will age be a barrier to get UK tier 4 visa?

As in ehn. He was so desperate to travel out and really thinks he can cut corners. Now see where it has landed him. I hope he finds a way around it

Which school is better in terms of ranking, getting a job after graduation, getting an accommodation ( will be moving with my husband and 2 kids) and providing soft landing for international students.

I think you should Google the UK list of school ranking. You will find your answer there and also research the cities.

Please must it be the MA who fills the application form for dependant child or can the dependant partner fill the form on behalf of the child? I'm asking cos I filled the application form for my kids and I'm dependant partner. Is this okay?

Can I add that if the MAs POF is enough don't include the DoM so the ECO doesn't mistake the DoM for your maintenance

If you are providing both, ensure your DOM meets the criteria of minimum 28days and ensure the cover letter explains it

When applying for spouse and dependent the gov.uk website says ***If your partner or child is applying at a different time to you (they’re applying separately) they only need to prove they have money to support themselves.***

The funds for them is still in my account and is more than enough but we just got nsf asking for the amount in the screenshot below.

How do I tackle this?

Do I add my fees paid so far, rent paid?

The Answer to your question is in the question it self. The moment you are referencing 6 months or less then the IHS fee is set to 0. However, you need to be careful about how you answer the questions that lead to the zero .If it is found that you gave wrong answers you may be queried or penalized as the case may be. From your question you have 6 months which means its ok to see zero.
I hope this clarifies your concern.

No matter the currency your debit/credit card is, as long as its Mastercard, visa or any acceptable debit/credit card it will work for the payment. For as long as there is no local restriction like our dear naija own it will automatically convert the currency to the equivalent dollar or pound required using DCC (dynamic currency conversion).The answer in short is Yes. The cards will work.

Hello,

I sent you a direct message because we have similar scenario. From screenshot visible ,they seem to be focused on eliminating recycled funds and that is the focus of their question which is confusing you since you had proven your POF during your time .The best scenario is to meet their specific request of showing the total funds for all .The other scenario must come with an explanation of what you have made payment for with proof since you got to the UK .I did not use the main applicants account for my application so I am not sure if I will get same mail .Which ever way one must be prepared to prove non-recycled funds the best way you can and hope they act positively. Best of luck while you await other people's comment on the matter.

I don't think it's achievable this year. The government is already facing resistance over the plan. However, the report looks centered to uphold the dependent status quo for masters and doctoral programs.

According to an NIS personnel I spoke with, December applicants are experiencing delays because of the festive break, and when the finally resumed in January, they were advised to attend to diaspora Nigerians who returned to the country for the Christmas and New year and are to renew their booklets.

These can only happen in Nigeria. This week will make it 9 weeks since I captured, they even asked me not to bother checking their office until I get a confirmation SMS to pick up the passport.

To make matters worse, my application has a name mismatch issue when I track it online and they say it will take longer to resolve.

Ooo my Nigeria, I just don't know what to say.

But please, if the AR becomes successful and IHS isn't refunded, would I still have to pay for a new IHS if I'm required to submit another application to match the previous one?

If AR is successful, a new CAS will be requested, IHS will not be refunded, additional documents may be requested especially your maintenance funds to confirm you still have that

And yes you may be required to submit a new application to match details on the previous one.

AR on study visa can be quite complicated compared to visit visa

please read these lines to see if it applies to you.
If you appeal or ask for an administrative review
If you applied from:

inside the UK - you’ll get your refund up to 6 weeks after your appeal or administrative review is dismissed
outside the UK - you’ll get your refund up to 6 weeks after your visa application is refused
You’ll have to repay the IHS if your appeal or administrative review is successful and you’ve already got your IHS refund.

You might have to repay a different amount if:

the length of your stay changes
you get less time on your visa than you asked for
Contact UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) if your refund is not paid within 6 weeks.

Yes ,you are on the right path in addressing this,

Write a detailed cover letter to regarding this request and inparticular the difference in the amount, you could do a table of inflow and outflow

1. Reference the relevant documents reflecting fees rents and other bills paid in the UK so far, they have to balance the figures out

2. Ensure the documents you provide are verifiable
