NwekereNdoki: But buddy, you place Orlu and Ohaji Egbema on same Lga platform, how? Landed properties in one street alone in Orlu is more than the landed properties in the entire Ohaji Egbema Lga. 4 Likes |

Govt60: You don't have to blame them if they didn't come out, rather blame the Government that haven't done much to secure Orlu. My people at Orlu are really suffering, for the past 2 days now ; no movement. Hope needs to discard the useless Ebubeagu he brought to Orlu people. They have caused more harm than good to them. 6 Likes |

MomentMan: Pooh it's ebubeagu and no longer ipob criminals enforcing sit at home abi? If they don't come out and vote, there are politically irrelevant in imo state politics going forward. There's solid security measures put in place everything is super peaceful If they don't vote, there are slaves to a fugitive based in Finland and are the true Efulefu in igboland period. |

Naniboi17: Please tell him...Hope is the most useless Governor in south East, other south East governors hasn't been using the Ebubeagu they introduced but Hope keeps using them. They are killing people unnecessary. I know of someone they gunned down two weeks ago. Just today,no single inec official came to almost 90% of the polling units at Orlu zone. 4 Likes |

Govt60: Who is the Chief executive and security officer in Imo state? Hope Uzodinma. If you dare insult my people of Orlu again as you are eating Hope Uzodinma's money, thunder and lightening Kara Ka will obliterate you from the face of the earth. How could Orlu people fetch violence to destroy their city? You know that it's Hope Uzodinma who bought the violent people to Orlu since shortly after he became governor. To prove himself torotoro in the eyes of the people, Hope Uzodinma abandoned every thing govt in Orlu and even relocated some to Owerri. 2 Likes |

MomentMan: The gov with blood soacked hands is using Orlu to rehearse for his 2nd term bid next November. But it's total rejection by all of Imo state that waits for him. In areas where voting took place in Imo state yesterday, APC got 0 votes in too many boots 2 Likes |

Igbos with exception of Abia, are all doing well from Anambra to Enugu to Imo and Ebonyi. Abia is where there hasn't been any sign of development or good governance since 1999. Abia has continued to be a laughing stock in igboland and Nigeria in general NwekereNdoki: |

Naniboi17: Orlu and okigwe poeple are efulefus. Argue with your mouth. Shooting yourselfs in the foot in the name of Biafra then you come to nairaland and ask the government to remember you. Thunder fire you people. During elections you sit at home and threaten those that want to vote and you think roses will be brought to you. Got news that arondizuogu did not vote, and they are thumbprinting the ballots for them with APC. Meanwhile Igbos went around killing and burning people's homes and threatening people that want to vote to sit at home. |

Govt60: Hope Uzodinma's militia have been terrifying residents of Orlu since May 2020. In preparation for his 2nd term election coming soon, his militia wouldn't still allow people in Orlu to come out and vote, he also bought out election officers most of whom refused to conduct election in Orlu. You should know these things but you abuse people in Orlu and Okigwe. In other words, Owerri shall make Uzodinma get 2nd term, ABI? You no get sense, just like your mentor you serve here. 3 Likes |

Govt60: How dare you insult Orlu people? ...Regardless of the fact that we respect you in this thread, anyi bu Ndi Orlu zone will not tolerate any insult from you, know your limits.. We all came out to vote but INEC was nowhere to be found. They were scarcely present in most polling units. Surprisingly we are now seeing results from wards that election didn't take place... Instead of you to channel your criticisms to Hope Uzodimma and his cohorts who are shamelessly manipulating and scuttling votes in Orlu zone, you are insulting Ndi Orlu.. I am beginning to believe some of the things that Ncheche guy has been saying .. 3 Likes |

Kingsbuchi: Did Orlu residents come out to vote ?? The results reflects that. You can only rig effectively if there's a good voters turnout. Nobody rigged in Orlu the results reflects voting by party agents only same can be said of Orsu LGA. But ORU EAST that hope Uzodinma rigged had a high voters turnout apart from Awomama where he snatched ballot boxes |

*Encomiums for Minister of State for Education, Rt Hon Opiah Over Fed Poly Nekede Second Campus in Egbema* The Minister of State for Education, Rt Hon Goodluck Nanah Opiah has received enormous praises for the second campus granted the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, Imo State at Abaezi, Egbema, in Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State. The Federal Government some weeks ago graciously made available the Skills Acquisition Centre premises in Abaezi, Egbema, the homestead of Rt Hon Opiah, built by the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta, a second campus of the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede. In appreciation of the efforts of the Minister of State for Education in the realization of this giant stride, the management of the institution led by the Rector, Engr Dr Micheal C.Arimanwa expressed happiness on the efforts of the Minister of States for Education for giving Poly Nekede a second campus after more than three decades of existence. The institution in a letter of appreciation to the Minister signed by Engr Dr Arimanwa, during the thank you visit to his office at the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja, disclosed that the priceless assistance Rt Hon Opiah rendered cannot be overlooked in the acquisition of the second campus. The letter reads “the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of Federal Polytechnic Nekede profoundly appreciate the Honourable Minister of Education (State) Rt Hon Goodluck Nanah Opiah for the invaluable assistance rendered to us in the acquisition of the second campus at Abaezi, Egbema In Imo State “The news of the approval of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari to bequeath an already built-up campus to our institution was received with a lot of joy and fanfare” The Fed Poly Nekede team on the visit showcased joy over the efforts of Rt Hon Opiah who was instrumental to the acquisition of the second campus at Abezi, Egbema. It would be recalled that Rt Hon Opiah during his tenure as Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly In 2007-2011 ensured that the Imo State State Government converted the Micheal Okpara College Of Agriculture, Umuagwo Ohaji, a monotechnic in his constituency, to Imo State Polytechnic, before recent upgrading to University of Agriculture and Environment Sciences.
