I really felt for them. I schooled in Maiduguri during the heat of the insurgency and I am in contact with many of my friends from there. Those guys have endured a lot and they are not the type that come online to cry about injustice. If you see what is happening to idps, farmers, fishers etc. They seem not to be particularly enthusiastic about even the candidates from the north maybe except for Kwankwaso in states like kano. Whoever wins should try to solve this insecurity issue once and for all. Could you imagine that the roads were safer at the peak of the insurgency than they are now. I plied that road to and from maiduguri at least 3x per year from 2009-2012. Buhari really disappointed them but I was shocked that they reelected him. This shows that most of them them will rather not vote than chose Atiku.
