STATEMENT BY CHIEF ADE AYENI, THE SENATORIAL CANDIDATE OF THE NNPP ON THE JUST CONCLUDED EKITI NORTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT ELECTION

Congratulations to my brother, Dist. Sen. CYRIL FASUYI , on his victory in the recently concluded Ekiti North Senatorial Election; the trust placed in you by our people to represent them should not be taken lightly.

Though we were opponents in the polls, we are not enemies and I remain willing to offer him any necessary advice and cooperation.

I'd also like to thank everyone in the senatorial district for their goodwill and support.

I also encourage everyone to wait patiently for the results of the Presidential election, and to pray for peace, unity, and progress in our country.

But see the poor souls whose lives are being looted and gambled upon are the ones killing each other and creating unnecessary enemies for politicians who don't care about your earthly presence....
