The headline is seriously misleading. Result of few polling units in the city centre are not enough to declare that a candidate is sweeping the polls. Wait for collated local government results.

I do believe that based on emerging trend, Peter Obi may not win the election this time, But I am very happy for the input and distruption -revolution if you like - that has been caused. We can the restrategise and look forward to the next elections with pride and optimism.

Well done our southern youths.

Very tribalistic comment . That’s why you would loose this election. Please what’s your highest educational qualification. Can you post it here so we can validate your stupidity.

You can wail for all you want. I attained one of the highest educational qualifications. So I know if the level of literacy is quite upto 40% up north, they won't allow politicians mess them up. You can imagine someone selling his vote for a pack of spaghetti in Keffi Nassarawa State

I'm a bit disappointed. What's with all this tiny figures? The northerners will bombard us with APC: 2k+ votes in each polling unit..

But I'm just seeing a meager 150 LP votes in Edo.

I'm disappointed.
Indifference by Southerners, reflected in abysmally low voter turnout, is the reason the North with their largely illiterate but highly politically conscious population would boss us for a long time.

While leaving to vote, I was almost moved to tears to see people who are battered economically rather sit in groups and deliver their verdict "even if he win, dem no go gree give am".

Worse still, the ones you see at the polling units are serving as thugs while some others are waiting to be induced before voting.

My Joy? I've done my bit, the turnout was still a marked improvement from previous cycles and should get better as people perceive the electoral system to be more credible and yet suffer again from policies of future rulers like Buhari.

Overall, I'm positive no victor from this electoral cycle would dismiss the people as "inconsequential" anymore.

Are you not AWARE of all the tactics INEC AND EVUL APC has been using to disenfranchise voters in the South South, South East and South West?

From snatching ballot where there are LARGE VOTER TURNOUTS in the OPPOSITION STRONGHOLDS to

INEC staff INTENTIONALLY coming late to the polling unit and then leaving before time after claiming BVAs are not working thereby only allowing 200 out of 1 thousand people to vote, yet the process is going on smoothly in the North o where they have thousands in just one unit. No hitches at all with all that minors and people from Chad. To

MANIPULATING the results after claiming they can't UPLOAD results

To voter intimidation, burning ballot papers or throwing inside the gutters

To using tipex to change results etc etc

So NO, I am not surprised. Especially as underaged voting as well as bringing in foreigners from Niger and co to vote is still happening in the North till today.

Full state results will start coming out soon, after clearing the South with a good margin, we enter the North Central.

Make everybody calm down, no be who first score dey win match.

Peter obi will win, make obidients relax, fear not.

Ok

You want to enter the north central in 2027?

I have been disappointed by Nairaland coverage of the election. Everything is pushed to FP. The candidate that won in Tinubu’s toilet will soon be on FP. Too much detracts it all.

This particular post is even better. It has enough data. Nonetheless, it will be better, if the polling units are compiled under their local government.

And then, there should be a dedicated forum for local government results. As at now, there is no picture.

U start ur own na
