garfield1: I am not even sure PDP got up to 30% in the governorship election that happened only a few months ago. It is amazing that over 80,000 people in Ekiti believed that a Northerner succeeding Buhari suits them more than a Southern president. But thats democracy. Freedom to choose. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Politics 101: Traditionally PDP voters migrated to Labour Party. Figures that PDP supposed to get are gotten by LP while APC still holds on to their bases. Nothing changes. LP got what PDP supposed to get in Lagos, so nothing changes. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Even the votes from the North are super low compared to previous elections. Turn out in the SW is shocking. I think most people register to vote and collect PVC because they see it as an official government document they can use as ID. Truth is, most people have given up on Nigerian politicians. They just don't believe or trust them. 3 Likes 1 Share |
