If you sincerely believe that if demented Tinubu wins, prosperity shall come to Nigeria, what's the difference between you and the Almajiris of Bauchi you cited?
How can a president suffering dementia bring you prosperity?

I wish many of Nigerian youth can think like u.

I know why they rated majority of Nigerian youth as one of the lowest IQ in the world, they don’t look at things critically, they just look at thing in their own perspective and throw tantrums or insult others if they don’t look at it in their own perspective.

I listen to all d candidates and non of them actually profer solution to Nigeria's problem everybody that voted only did based on sentiment and bandwagon effect. Some even voted for senator or house of rep candidates they don’t know.

Any time i point out the flaws of each candidates and why i cannot vote for them, I'm called tribalist by Obi supporters, Yoruba bastard by Tinubu supporter and bigot by Atiku's supporters, to them u can't speak the truth u are supporter of the other opposition.

Very good analysis.

I just wish a new party can start afresh with fresh people.

These parties have too many godfathers to answer to thats why they can never achieve any thing substantial while in power.

It is kind of the fault of our education system and the way the economy is set up

Educated people leave the villages and head out into the cities to look for work and other opportunitues. This leaves those who cannot leave because they are not educated enough.

The main parties build their structures and their support on the people left behind. And since these are the people that the villagers see...not the educated man in the city that may come home once in a year or sometimes in years....they win elections for their main parties.

I don't like it when people call them illiterates for voting APC and PDP.(I reiterate that that is a mistake...something that the Democrats learned the hard way in 2015, and even still make, and something seen to some extent in the UK). APC and PDP are sadly the only parties that at least give a damm. LP? Lord knows I used to live in the North. LP is not to be seen anywhere in the rural areas. If LP at least did some mobilization and came with some ideas that suit the rural areas, or even some of the educated people came home and ran for councillor, and suchlike, or even engaged in local activisim so that people could eventually see that APC and PDP are fake parties who just want power...maybe things might change. But it is hard work, and most of us educated people ain't got time.

LP is also not above using tribe and religion to to woo voters...plus a lot of the educated vote for all three parties on tribal and religious grounds.

At the end, politics in Nigeria is not about issues. I don't consider Atiku, Tinubu or Obi have anything new for Nigerians. At the end, they would just do what has been done year in, year out;;;;over subsidise, take loans to cover the deficit, find jobs for the boys and girls, and the rest of us will complain and grumble as we always do about 'corruption' and look for the next 'hero'.

Another brilliant post, all I can correct is your spelling - it is not "corruption" - - - the correct spelling is "kwarapshin."

Any win for Tinubu in Rivers State is a rigged result.

BVAs only account for accredited voters, not how they voted

If bvas captured 30 people
He doesn't care or know how they voted
To rig that, you will just allocate just 30 votes not more or less

Before now, when incident forms where used
You can add

Hope you get now

If Tinubu wins eventually, it shows despite the APC's 8 Yrs misrule, a sick Tinubu, is 200% better and more brilliant than your '61yr old young Obi'. To me Tinubu is like an handicap running a race with an agile opponent, APC and Buhari's policies in the last 3 months has not helped Tinubu in anyway.

onuman:

The state touted all the years as the intellectual hub of Yoruba land now seeks to have a man suffering dementia, speech defects, shuffling gait, a man who forfeited $460,000 drug trafficking money to the US government in the past, to rule over it, and unfortunately, rule over 220m people in Nigeria.
Intellectual hub title gone away?

Why is it the surprise of your life? In 2019 PDP won in 3 of the 6 South West States despite Tinubu bringing money in 2 bullion vans for APC polling agents and party officials for that election. PDP didn't spend a dime. That is Yorubas for you.

Most of the Agbo (herbal medicine) sellers you find in Lagos, Ibadan and all over Nigeria are from Osun State. Most of the yoruba taxi drivers in PortHarcourt are from Osun State.

Another South West State where you should not be surprised is Ondo but they might have changed.

PDP don't invest in South West States for campaign because they know they will get votes.

This is the reasons rigging is very minimal in South West States during elections . There are two contending forces since Awolowo - Akintola era. If you travel a lot around Nigeria, you will be very surprised of some states with fewer population than South west states before election recording high number of total votes.

2019 is different from this one my brother. I have mentioned the reason why I said so.
