I was told that Toyota is more economical than any other car..
But I don't that kind of money to buy Toyota Corolla

If you live in a big city with good roads, then a Honda is a good option. Yes, not ideal, but this car will be in the middle service segment. My sister married a Canadian guy. He gave her such a car to take the children to kindergarten. As far as I remember, they do preventive examination once a year. And they do simple manipulations themselves, for example, an order all-weather tires - https://tireplanet.ca/all-weather-tires Also comes with an oil change. Overall, the car is not expensive. But keep in mind that they never use it if they need to go to the suburbs. I would say that this is more of a female car.

You are entitled to your opinion.. But you are not entitled to state your opinion as a fact.

A lot of people use Hondas and the car hasn't killed them or rendered them bankrupt... This one is a fact.

Evey car, including almighty Toyota, needs maintenance... Fact

If yu can't afford basic maintenance of any car you buy, you have no business owning it.. Fact

then why for every 20cars only 3 are hondas? inhave strong headed friends that thought they could handle honda wahala but ended up selling them off as scraps coz their cars are so terrible they can’t even hold value. buying a evil spirit has been mu worse decision ever.

Baba go for that Civic model any year you buy, its a good deal..its more durable and dependable than the almight Toyota...quote me anywhere its save more fuel than corolla, and engine is more strong and rugged..in terms of overheating, it doesn't really worst than Toyota..

Please how did you arrive at your conclusion that for every 20 cars, only 3 are Honda?.. Was it on 3rd Mainland Bridge or Kubwa Express you did the counting?

So because you and your friends had bad experiences with Honda cars, no one should buy Honda cars, and the millions of people who are enjoying Honda cars should throw them away? grin

The only reason people hype Toyota is because of how simple it is to fix, doesn't have complicated electronics and such but ironically that also makes extremely easy to steal compared to other vehicles...

on economy, cost of parts & maintenance...it's either beaten or on same level with majority of cars.....even when it comes to engine oil a Toyota always requires more compared to Honda of d same engine size

All things being equal ... if you do not maintain your car ... a Toyota Corolla will endure longer than a Honda Civic ... and a Civic will endure longer than most cars on the market. If you don't have much money ... to find a Corolla or Civic in reasonably good condition then you will be looking at one around 15 years old and likely older. Corollas and Civics hold value ... and that should tell you something. Personally, I'll go for a Corolla over a Civic ... if the purpose is getting to and from work and doing local runs. If for the the same purposes but I also like to hang and am a bit of a speed demon ... I'll go for the Civic. There's a whole lot of modifications one can do with a Civic that can't be done on a Corolla ... and for this very reason ene should be cautious on buying a used Civic since it may be heavily modified.... and for the same reason ... don't be drag racing Civics because you never know what's under the hood. Bottom line ... Civic is a very good car.
Go figure!

If u don't have money to buy a Toyota, buy a civic.
Honda is equally as economical and almost as rugged as a Toyota too.
They are durable and easy to maintain as well so don't mind all the stereotypes here.
Honda is a very good car just make sure u have a good maintenance culture.
