Pls I was asked to submit source of funds for the money in my account, what can be used? Congratulations sir. Please i want to ask. If someone has a registered business (asides working) but there is not tax records and the person does not pay herself salary, is there any point mentioning it in the SOP at all? Secondly, in my place of work, our salary is paid cash. Not transfer. No pay slip (its a small organization). I hope it won't e a source of concern? [/quote] |

Good morning house, Kindly provide me with your candid advise. I recently became a widow with 4 children and I'd like to leave to Canada via the study route. How do I prove home ties as I can't imagine leaving my children behind. How much POF will be sufficient for me and my 4 children please,I mean POF excluding school fees. I read earlier on this platform that if I wanted to ise NSE, I need 30,000 cad in my account, ......my question is that does the 30,000 cad need to have been in my account for the past 6 months and is that sufficient for my whole fam or just for me. Guru's in the house please revert. Please |

Shrunkwriter:1)You can add it as home ties instead. 2)It raises an eye brow but it’s not a basis of disqualification, you just have to sell it very well and remove every doubt. Get a letter from your employer stating you get paid in cash. Submit every thing possible that shows that even if the organisation is small it’s real and it exists , add your employment letter, work id, and everything related to your employment. But regardless you also need to submit your bank statement to show you have some money. And in your home ties section show all your employment prospects back home after you graduate, if possible add how much more you could earn, if possible show job offer advertisements for that role ( pick the one with the highest pay and screen shot it or add the link) don’t lie that you are coming back to resume work ( any mumu knows that u being paid in cash equates u are not been paid a lot of money). Have it at the back of your mind that you are talking to a psychologist that can see through bs. So SELL YOURSELF well. |

Harley345:Nothing is wrong, your application is just randomly slower than hers. Instead of waiting, go for upfront medical and send the slip they give you in a web form. Hopefully it gives your application a shake and makes someone look into it. Also texting is tone deaf and I could be wrong but u sound entitled. It isn’t your right to get the visa. Even if u submit all necessary documents, it’s still the discretion of the vo to decide if he wants to give you or not. Send web forms and emails stating that your application has passed normal processing time and HUMBLY state that you are still waiting for a decision. Pray and expect ppr soon by God’s Grace. Your visa is coming soon ijn 6 Likes |

ourunivibes: No you aren’t required to pay all tuition from here. And payment is based on the courses you’re taking. You are expected to pay your tuition deposit from here which is 500 Canadian dollars. |

Wsx2:This is too much... You really need to talk to your provider, and choose a better plan. Unless you use to make international calls, that's the only reason I can think of. I use Fido, and with 20gb, I pay $40/month including Tax, it was $55 before, but I went to their store and they introduced the plan to me. Even with the S23 ultra they offered me, it is just $110/month for 2 years + the 20gb data, call and text. (Although, I told them I don't need it for now) $144 is damn too much for phone bill. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Good morning my beautiful people! Please I have a couple of questions. 1) How can one get PR with a 1-year study permit 2) If one should consider transferring to a 2 year program after starting the 1-year program, how would you go about notifying CIC. Would making such changes have a negative impact? |

*Hello House* I will like to ask two questions: 1. Is there any issue or potential issue with me helping my sister submit her study visa application another country (US). Is there any red flag or issues that may arise from the fact that the application was submitted from the US while the applicant is in Nigeria and I chose Nigeria as the applicant's location/country of origin. Just need to be sure that the application wont be flagged for not being submitted from Nigeria while stating that the applicant is in Nigeria. 2. Her LOA states that the estimated cost of living in the state her school is is $15k per year, is there any repercussion if we follow the CA website and prove the standard/generally required $10k per year for living expenses part of POF? *Thank you* 1 Like |

mobbwc:No Red flag. After all,, when it comes to biometric and medicals, It will be done physically. So it will then proves that the person is truly in Nigeria. But there's a section that asks if the applicant is using an agent or third party to submit the application, you should answer yes. |

Hello everyone I need an advice on my current situation. I applied for study visa in August 2022 together with a visit visa for my daughter, however it was delayed till now. IRCC just asked for an updated LOA (my initial resumption date was October 2022) and proof of funds. Because am expecting a baby soon I had asked my school to defer my admission to January 2024 but there refused saying they haven't started issuing admission for January yet. The school representative advised I write a letter to IRCC stating that I will not be coming now and would be deferring till January. According to her even if am given a visa now I will still need to explain why am resuming months after my school resumption date and visa approval. If I do as she advised, will my application not be delayed or even forgotten when I need it or even a denial of visa now ? If I submit an LOA for April 2023, will I need to explain to IRCC my reason for coming late and can it lead to denial at POE Do I need another medicals even if my visa is approved before the expiry date of September 1? Or do I withdraw the application and apply afresh as a family with my husband especially as it will be difficult to travel with and take care of 2 little children alone while studying? Please help |
