Let me show you the 2027 formula in a straight contest between this Tinubu-Shettima APC ticket as an incumbent vs Peter Obi.

SW - Target 55-60%
NC - Take key states like Kwara, Kogi, Niger and divide the rest.
NW - A firewall will be built here. 70-75%.
NE - Another firewall 70% minimum.
SE - Bring any percentage you have.
SS - Don't go below 30% overall.

Just now now, and you haven't learnt the lessons of permutations and combinations

I will identify you then, God keeping us and Sheun's forum alive

As I told izzou earlier, 4yrs is a very long time in politics. Infact 1 week is a long time in politics as alot can happen.

In 4yrs, alot of alignment and realignment will happen. Politics is not straightforward.

We told them. Political analysts on this thread told us Wike has no relevance cheesy

Everybody eye don dey clear. Atiku has been destined not to be president. You cannot have a man like Wike and decide not to use him.

Is it the loss of Wike that made him lose, or the fact that he could not secure his region?

Wetin Wike wan input for Kano or Katsina wey the margin no big?

A strong vice from North is all Obi needs (politician not technocrat). Forget all this long yarnin. What will be Obi's albatross this time is not getting enough from the deep North. Ordinary Kwankwaso would have remedied that. An Obi/Kwankwaso ticket would get at least 25% in 3 NW and Deep North states. The rest he would have easily made up in North Central

For now I still see Atiku in the contest and Obi if he can get Dracarys level numbers from certain states.

Jonathan lost with Wikes support but you have to admit he pulled his weight. Atiku gathered people who are unable to pull their weight.

He lost due to a combination of factors, WIKE inclusive.

Lessons have now been learnt, all hands must be on deck in 2027 including Peter Obi and Kwankwaso. If any of them decides to fly solo again, they will lose.

So political relevance is the ability to hold your state hostage and rig everything riggable?

Without Atiku and Kwankwanso anywhere on the ticket.

Really disappointing but it proves my point from yesterday. At least Atiku won states without Obi's help.

If Atiku wins it will be because he didn't win his turf in dominant fashion not because of any Obi

Better.

Abeg remove Kwankwaso from that list. He will prefer to parade his red cap minions instead of being reasonable

Another politician go emerge wey go join Obi.

But with what Obi has achieved, anybody coming has to be the Vice. No negotiations about that

For me rigging shouldn't be associated with political relevance. That's a crime under the law.

You are right.

Whichever way you look at it, Muslim - Muslim ticket was the right decision that Tinubu take. It was risky and lost him alot of votes in the South especially Lagos but he made up for it in the NE and NW.
